Ishani says she cannot understand why Pihu is obsessed with Anurag and expects him to love her when he clearly loves someone else. She adds that this is madness, not love, and it will only bring pain to Pihu. Pihu argues that Ishani cannot understand this madness because she has never loved anyone passionately. She firmly states that Ishani cannot change her feelings for Anurag.

The next day, Shashwat calls Anurag and asks to meet him. Anurag taunts Shashwat for suddenly calling him. Shashwat says the meeting is important and that Ishani’s fate also depends on it. He blackmails Anurag, threatening to beat Ishani if Anurag refuses to meet him. Anurag asks whether Ishani knows about this meeting. Shashwat replies that Ishani does not know and should not find out. He warns Anurag that he may throw Ishani out of the house if he tells her anything. He also declares that he will never divorce Ishani, ensuring she suffers for the rest of her life.
Anurag responds that it does not matter to him because nothing is going on between him and Ishani, unlike what Shashwat is assuming. He says he knows Shashwat wants to meet only to discuss the defamation case. Shashwat claims he is not scared of Rajdeep and can hire many lawyers. He admits that his case is weak and that Anurag might win. He then threatens Anurag, saying that if he gets hospitalised after eating Ishani’s homemade food, it will become an attempted murder case, which is not a small matter.
Anurag says he has never seen a more dangerous man than Shashwat. Shashwat coldly replies that everything is fair in love and war. Anurag asks what Shashwat actually wants. Shashwat insists on meeting him. Anurag finally agrees. Shashwat adds that even Pihu should not know about their meeting.
Anurag says he does not want Ishani to suffer because of him. Shashwat claims this concern is the reason he suspects a relationship between Anurag and Ishani. Anurag clarifies that he never said his bond with Ishani was anything more than a student and professor relationship. He disconnects the call and wonders what Shashwat is planning now.
Later, Shashwat informs Nandini that Anurag has agreed to meet him. He asks whether she will accompany him. Nandini questions why she would leave him alone. Shashwat says they should end this matter as soon as possible and that he will ensure Anurag accepts his decision.
During the meeting, Anurag asks Shashwat why he was called. Shashwat suggests they remain cordial and avoid court and legal trouble. Anurag reminds him that it was Shashwat who dragged him to the police station. Nandini intervenes and asks them to forget the past. She then invites Anurag to Yash’s marriage. Surprised, Anurag asks why they suddenly changed their attitude. Shashwat says he has noticed that Ishani and Anurag care about each other. He wants to see how Ishani reacts when she sees Anurag at Yash’s wedding.
Anurag questions Shashwat’s childish behaviour and says Ishani will never admit her feelings even if she has any. Shashwat says he will handle that. He demands that Anurag end the case and threatens to punish Ishani if he refuses. Anurag calls Shashwat a devil. Shashwat replies that he cannot tolerate betrayal and claims that he may allow Ishani to go to college if he is convinced that her relationship with Anurag is strictly that of a student and professor.
