Indu goes to meet Zoon. She breaks down on seeing her, hugs her tightly, and kisses her. The Raina family gets emotional. Indu asks Zoon whether she is fine and where she went. Zoon hesitantly asks if she can ask something. Indu encourages her. Zoon says that because of her presence, Indu is suffering a lot and blames herself for everything, calling herself a bad person. Indu and the Raina family are shocked.

Zoon continues, saying she knows she is a bad person. Because of her, Indu went to the police station, stayed in lock-up, and is facing so many problems. That is why she decided to leave Indu, so she can be happy. She also says that her biological mother abandoned her after birth because she is bad. Indu cries and asks who filled her mind with such thoughts. She tells Zoon that before she entered her life, her life had no meaning at all.
Indu explains that when Zoon held her dupatta with her little finger for the first time, her life got a new purpose. If Zoon had not come into her life, she would not even be alive today. She pleads with Zoon to never listen to anyone who says they are not mother and daughter and assures her that she is not the reason for her suffering. Indu tells Zoon that she loves her more than anything. The Raina family gets emotional. Zoon finally accepts Indu’s words and promises not to listen to anyone else. Gayatri watches everything silently from a corner.
Indu happily tells Zoon that they can now go home. Zoon agrees but becomes hesitant on seeing Gayatri and tells Indu that she does not want to go with her. Gayatri stops Indu, apologizes for their carelessness, and says that she cannot allow Zoon to go with her until the matter is resolved. She clarifies that Zoon will not be sent back to the CAA center but will be placed in foster care for her mental and physical well-being. She adds that Zoon cannot be sent either to her biological parent or to someone who wants to adopt her.
Vivek offers to keep Zoon at his house. Gayatri agrees and says the paperwork will be started. Everyone comes out. Ritesh stops Indu, who is carrying Zoon in her arms, and asks what is happening. Indu glares at him and leaves. Gayatri informs Ritesh that Zoon will stay at Vivek’s house and says she will explain everything later. Ritesh feels it is unfair.
The Raina family reaches their society. Anjali mentions that Navratri will begin the next day. Indu suggests visiting Mata Rani to seek blessings, and Zoon agrees. They all attend the puja and greet the society members. Asha takes Zoon to drop her at Vivek’s house. Indu prays to Mata Rani, saying that she knows everything and asking for help in getting Zoon’s custody.
Vivek arrives and asks Indu what she is doing. Indu thanks him for keeping Zoon at his house. She says that society and the law are failing to understand the bond between her and Zoon, so she will fight legally, change the system, and prove the strength of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Kaamna complains to Ritesh that it is unfair for Gayatri to allow Zoon to stay at Vivek’s house. She pretends to apologize for leaving Zoon’s side earlier to take care of Shakuntala. Ritesh tells her she did nothing wrong and asks Rahul to call Jatin. Kaamna suggests calling him the next day and assures Ritesh that they will find another way. Ritesh leaves upset, while Kaamna smirks.
Sameer calls Kadambari and provokes her by saying that Zoon is staying at Indu’s friend Vivek’s house for now. Kadambari almost reveals that Zoon is her daughter but stops herself. Sameer tells her that he knows the truth, will not judge her past, and asks her to contact him if she needs help. Kadambari is left shocked.
Later, Indu asks Zoon why she has not eaten and feeds her a sandwich. The next day, Navratri begins. Both the Raina and Malhotra families perform the aarti. Indu prays for Zoon’s happiness. Ritesh prays to give Zoon all the happiness in the world. Zoon prays for both Indu’s and Ritesh’s wishes to be fulfilled and smiles.
Precap: Gayatri informs Ritesh that he cannot adopt Zoon because he is single, shocking him. Indu decides to file a petition in court for Zoon’s custody. Sunita refuses to support her decision. Indu swears on Mata Rani that she will never get married, leaving Sunita stunned. Ritesh asks Rahul to find another way to secure Zoon’s custody.
