Jhanak tells both Nutan and Parashar that Rishi may not have accepted her as his wife, but her heart has accepted him as her husband. She breaks down in tears. Parashar asks whether this means his daughter will stay with them and cry her entire life. Nutan says that her fate and Jhanak’s fate are the same. Jhanak tells Nutan that she will study and prove herself. She says that even in a village, a girl can achieve anything. Parashar asks for whom she wants to prove herself. Jhanak replies that she wants to prove it to everyone. Parashar says she is actually determined to prove herself to Rishi. Jhanak denies this.

Parashar says Rishi should be questioned for his actions. Jhanak requests him not to confront Rishi because it is not his fault. She explains that Rishi’s family is ready to accept her, but Rishi is in love with Aditi and was forced by the villagers to marry her. She asks Parashar not to blame Rishi or his family and not to say anything against him. Nutan says Jhanak is in love with Rishi, which is why she cannot tolerate a single word against him. Parashar says Rishi should love Jhanak because he is married to her. Jhanak questions how he can say that. Both Parashar and Nutan fall silent.
At the hospital, Rishi and his entire family worry about Dadabhai’s health condition. They discuss the surgery and the doctors’ decisions. Putul requests permission to meet Dadabhai. Her sister blames her for Dadabhai’s deteriorating health. Putul defends herself, and the family advises them not to argue. They also discuss the sudden drastic change in Dadabhai’s medical reports. Eventually, Putul is allowed to meet him.
Putul breaks down after meeting Dadabhai and blames herself for his condition. Dadabhai asks her not to blame herself and reassures her that he will recover. He also asks her to take care of her mother if anything happens to him and says they must think practically. Putul cries uncontrollably and begs him not to speak like that.
Back in the village, Nutan notices Jhanak lost in her thoughts and motivates her to focus on her goals. They talk about Rishi and his family. Jhanak tells Nutan that she does not love Rishi. She also tells her about Dadabhai’s efforts to meet her. Nutan says Rishi will return to Jhanak because she truly loves him. Jhanak then asks why Nutan’s husband never returned. Nutan becomes speechless and recalls her last conversation with Anirudha, which leaves her emotional. Jhanak says she does not believe in such hopes and wishes that Rishi and Aditi get married. She also shares her special bond with Dadabhai.
At the hospital, Dadabhai asks Putul to bring his cheque book because he wants to give Jhanak money for her hostel stay in Kolkata so she can continue her studies. He also asks Putul to call Jhanak to meet him. When Putul expresses concern about Rishi’s reaction, Dadabhai says Rishi cannot do anything because the hospital is not private property. Meanwhile, Jhanak tells Nutan that she will never marry anyone else because she has wholeheartedly accepted her marriage with Rishi. Nutan becomes sad.
Precap: Rishi informs Aditi about Dadabhai’s heart attack, and Aditi rushes to meet him. Jhanak reaches the hospital. Rishi is shocked to see her and worries about Aditi’s reaction.
