Kanka says Jhanak does not even know her father’s name and is just a village girl, so why would a city man like Rishi accept her. She adds that Rishi was forced to marry Jhanak. Jhanak asks Kanka to stop talking nonsense. She says she came to give her exams and will go to the city to get admission to a good college. She reveals that Dadabhai will help her with her studies. Jhanak asks why everyone kept questioning her about Rishi when her in-laws came. Nutan tells Kanka to stop questioning Jhanak. She says she will not leave Simulboni under any circumstances and asks Kanka to stop dreaming about it. Parashar says Jhanak’s in-laws came, and that is enough. He sends the villagers away.

Nutan takes Jhanak inside the house and asks her to sleep for some time. Jhanak says she needs to study. Parashar tells her to rest first. Nutan asks Jhanak to tell the truth about Rishi. Parashar says he wants to know why Rishi did not come. Jhanak says she did not lie. Nutan points out that Rishi did not even call once and is not picking up calls either. She demands the truth. Jhanak asks why Rishi would accept her when he was forced to marry her. She reveals that Rishi already had a fiancée and loves Aditi deeply. She tells Parashar that Rishi faced many problems because of the villagers. She tells Nutan that she freed Rishi from their relationship.
On the other side, Indumati tells Dadabhai that he increased Rishi’s problems. Abhimanyu questions why Dadabhai did not tell the truth to Jhanak’s family. Putul asks how they can say that when Jhanak was in critical condition. Rishi asks what the issue is in telling the truth. Neelu says Aditi is suffering, and that is all that matters to them.
Dadabhai says Aditi is educated and independent and has the right to reject Rishi for his mistakes. But Jhanak does not have that option because, for the villagers, Rishi is her husband. Rishi tells him that Jhanak is not his wife. He says only Aditi matters to him and that he will marry her once she understands him. He adds that Aditi will not come there if she finds out Dadabhai went to Simulboni.
Dadabhai says that does not matter to him and that he will always support Jhanak. He reveals that he will help Jhanak get admission to a college. Surjeet objects to this. Abhimanyu says Dadabhai’s actions are ruining Rishi’s life. Tanushri asks Dadabhai whether he told Jhanak to come and stay at their house. Dadabhai asks whether it is not his house and why he cannot do so. Rishi says Dadabhai can even bring villagers into the house, but he will leave. Dadabhai says Jhanak refused to come with him, and the stress causes him to suffer a heart attack.
Back in Simulboni, Parashar says Rishi should accept Jhanak. Jhanak asks what wrong Rishi did by not accepting her. Nutan says Jhanak is facing the same fate as her. Jhanak says she does not match Rishi. Parashar asks whether Jhanak accepted Rishi as her husband. Jhanak replies that she does not know. She says maybe her heart accepted Rishi as her husband. She breaks down and cries.
Precap: Rishi informs Aditi about Dadabhai’s heart attack. He sees Jhanak in the hospital and hopes Aditi does not see her.
