Ishani tells Anurag that he doesn’t need to drop her home. Anurag insists that he can’t stay with her forever, but at least he can do this small favor. Ishani replies that he should have said this on her marriage day. Anurag asks if she would have come to him then. Ishani admits that maybe she would have chosen Anurag. Anurag says he thought she had moved on. Ishani reveals that she had nothing and lived with the hope that Anurag would return—but he didn’t.
Anurag asks if there’s no way to rectify his mistake. He tells her that he never judged her and has always loved her—and always will. Ishani says that now, nothing can happen. Anurag asks if she truly loves Shashwat. Ishani lies, saying she does. Anurag refuses to believe her, insisting that they cannot love anyone else. Ishani challenges him, asking if he will remain single forever.

Anurag explains that he has crossed the marriageable age. Ishani replies that there is no age limit to marriage—they just need the right partner. She asks him to stop the car, saying she wants to walk from here. Anurag asks if she wants to walk alone. Ishani says she always feels someone’s presence and finds peace in walking alone. Anurag urges her to stop punishing herself and to make a decision.
Ishani admits that she doesn’t have the courage to leave all her relationships for him. Anurag questions why she cannot leave her abusive husband, Shashwat. Ishani finally admits that she still loves Anurag but cannot act on it due to their circumstances. Anurag agrees not to discuss it further and offers to drop her at the bus stop. Ishani gets off the car.
At that moment, Shashwat appears, and Ishani is shocked. Anurag also steps out. Ishani explains that he was simply dropping her at the bus stop. Shashwat questions Anurag, asking if this service is only for “special” people. Anurag tells Shashwat that he knows his responsibility as a professor and questions whether Shashwat knows his responsibility as a husband. A heated argument follows over Ishani’s injuries.
Anurag asks if Shashwat will control his anger. Shashwat admits he beat Ishani and asks whether he should drop her home or let Anurag do it. Ishani asserts that she will go alone and walks away. Shashwat warns Anurag that he will visit the college tomorrow.
Later, Ishani recalls Anurag’s words and how he applied ointment on her injuries. Pihu checks if Ishani has applied the ointment. Ishani says she feels better after it. Pihu offers to cook for Ishani, but Ishani insists she will cook for everyone.
Pihu reminds Ishani that Nandini is managing Yash’s marriage preparations but argues that it is Ishani’s rightful responsibility. She expresses her determination to get admission to Anurag’s college at any cost and asks Ishani to help with her marriage preparations. Ishani replies that she is not Pihu’s enemy and tells her dream cannot happen. Pihu challenges her, asking why it can’t.
