Raj Didi questions whether Ishani is heading out again. Ishani calmly replies that she has to go to college to appear for her entrance exam. Shashwat sarcastically asks if she cannot postpone her “study drama,” pointing out that marriage discussions are currently taking place in the house. Ishani assures him that her education will not interfere with Yash’s wedding and explains that she will only be away for three to four hours. Raj Didi remarks that Ishani should have informed them about her intentions before marriage. Ishani retorts that they should have told her beforehand that she would have no freedom after marriage. Annoyed, Shashwat questions when she became a feminist and bluntly states that she cannot ignore her responsibilities, nor will he grant her any freedom.

At that moment, Yash arrives with Ankita. Raj Didi compliments Ankita, saying she is glowing. Shashwat informs Ankita that they were discussing the wedding menu and asks Ishani to bring a pen and paper. Raj Didi reminds Yash and Ankita that they will not be able to meet after the Aashirwad ceremony. Shashwat then asks if they have finalized their honeymoon destination. Ishani returns with a diary and pen, but Yash questions why Ishani is being involved in the discussion. Ankita suggests using a phone instead, but Shashwat doubts whether Ishani can manage that. Raj Didi insists they write everything in the diary.

As Shashwat dictates the menu, he asks Ankita for her suggestions. Ankita politely says she is fine with his choices. Raj Didi expresses her excitement about Ankita joining the family. Shashwat instructs Yash to start coming to the office, but Yash admits he has no interest in the business. Ankita sides with Shashwat, saying he needs rest at his age. Raj Didi confidently declares that Ankita will manage the business in the future.

At the college, Pihu tells Anurag that she wants Ishani to become independent and fulfill her dreams. Curious, Anurag asks what Ishani’s dream is, but Pihu says she will reveal it later. Anurag hands her chocolates, making Pihu protest that she is not a child. Smiling, Anurag says he knows that and eats the chocolate himself. He then gives Pihu a gift and asks her to pass it on to Ishani before leaving. Pihu reflects that Anurag fills her with happiness and positive energy.

Back at home, Shashwat states that he wants to feel free once Pihu’s marriage is settled. Ishani asks if they need anything else from her. Ankita suggests that Ishani should stay involved in the discussion, but Ishani politely declines, saying she has other work. Yash begins mocking Ishani, and Raj Didi comments that Ishani often makes excuses to step out these days. Yash sneers, asking whether Ishani is starting from learning the alphabet. Ankita laughs along. Yash goes further, asking if Ishani’s classmates will call her “aunty” or “grandma.” Everyone bursts into laughter.

Hurt and humiliated, Ishani turns to Shashwat and asks whether he feels ashamed laughing at her insult. She reminds him that it is his responsibility to protect her dignity. She questions why she is constantly humiliated despite being the daughter-in-law of the house and points out that Yash and Ankita openly disrespect her. Feeling unwelcome, Ishani says she does not think she needs to stay there any longer and mentions that she is getting late. Shashwat orders her not to leave, but Ishani insists she will return soon and walks away.

Later, Raj Didi checks on Shashwat, asking if he is alright. Confused, Shashwat asks what she means. Raj Didi complains that Ishani has started talking too much and accuses her of insulting Shashwat in front of Ankita, which she considers unacceptable. She reminds him of the hard work he put into earning his reputation and status before leaving the room. Left alone, Shashwat mutters to himself that Ishani does not yet understand who he really is.
