Pihu urges Ishani to tell everyone the truth, saying Shashwat is deliberately defaming Anurag. Ishani refuses to discuss the matter. Pihu asks when Ishani will come out of Shashwat’s control and bluntly calls her a coward. She reminds Ishani that she secured her college admission, yet Ishani stopped attending classes just to manage household responsibilities. Pihu questions whether Ishani receives any respect or recognition in the house. She points out that Nandini is handling all the wedding work as if Yash is her son, while Ishani is actually Yash’s mother.
Ishani calmly replies that she has no issue if Nandini is helping with the wedding arrangements. She questions why Pihu is raising this issue at such a sensitive time. Ishani adds that truth always comes out eventually and does not need to be proven repeatedly. A guest says she does not understand why Pihu is so angry. Pihu responds that Ishani’s silence is the reason for her anger. She tells the guest that Shashwat forced Ishani to file a false complaint against Anurag and also stopped her from attending college. The guest advises Pihu not to interfere in elders’ matters. Shashwat claims Pihu does not know the complete truth, which is why she is making such statements. Raj Didi intervenes and asks everyone to continue with the haldi ritual.
At the police station, the inspector asks Anurag whether he knows Nandini. Anurag replies that he knows her and clarifies that he saw Nandini once at Shashwat’s house, after which he never met her again. The inspector asks if Anurag is alleging that Nandini filed a false complaint against him. Rajdeep steps in and says the real question is why Nandini would file a fake complaint against Anurag. Anurag then explains everything related to Ishani’s earlier complaint and understands the motive behind Nandini’s false accusation. The police inspector hands over the report. Rajdeep decides to officially take Anurag’s case and states that they will move to court. He assures Anurag that after winning the harassment case, they will file a defamation case as well. Anurag asks the inspector if he is free to leave. Rajdeep tells the inspector they will meet again soon and leaves with Anurag.
Back at the house, Pihu tells Ishani that she is deeply disappointed in her. Ishani says even if she tells the truth, people will still mock them. She firmly refuses to discuss the matter again. Raj Didi dances with the female guests, while Ishani silently finishes her work and goes upstairs.
The next day, Pihu sees Anurag and casually addresses him as “tum.” Anurag corrects her, reminding her that he is her professor, not her friend. Pihu explains that Yash’s wedding functions have started, so she cannot attend college. She also tells Anurag about what happened at the previous day’s function. Anurag defends Ishani and asks whether she will stop coming to college now. Pihu says Shashwat is taking advantage of Ishani’s weakness and admits she cannot understand why Ishani continues to tolerate his abuse.
Nandini tells Shashwat to check the guest list instead of focusing on office work. Shashwat replies that Nandini is handling everything, so he completely trusts her. Nandini asks whether Ishani will join them for shopping. Ishani responds sharply, asking what is the need when Nandini is making all the decisions anyway. Nandini remarks that Shashwat trusts her more than he trusts Ishani.
Precap: Shashwat learns about Anurag’s defamation case. Pihu tells Anurag that she wants Ishani to gain freedom from Shashwat.
