At the Jindal house, UV is in his room reading a book when he hears the ringtone. The tune instantly makes him emotional as it reminds him of his mother, who used to sing the same song to him during his childhood. He walks towards Katha’s bag to check the phone, but Katha arrives just in time and takes it away. She realises the phone isn’t hers, yet she deliberately avoids telling UV whose phone it is. UV asks her to change the ringtone and leaves. Katha then calls UV’s mother, assures her that she will return the phone soon, and enquires about her injuries. UV’s mother replies that she is absolutely fine because of Katha’s herbal paste.

Later, Katha and Naina are seen preparing for the launch of Katha’s tea-selling business from the next day. Naina advises Katha to inform UV that she will be sleeping in her room, or else he may search for her. Katha gives a sad smile and says UV would probably be happy to have the entire room to himself for a night, so he won’t bother looking for her.

Meanwhile, UV assumes Katha has gone to sleep in the kitchen. He hopes this arrangement won’t land him in trouble. He then decides to put up an impressive stall on Independence Day, hoping it will make his mother proud. Back in Naina’s room, Katha notices an Independence Day poster and decides to begin her tea business on that very day. She feels hopeful that she can finally repay UV’s money.

The next day, UV’s mother arrives at the spot where Katha is busy setting up her stall. Both greet each other warmly. Sensing Katha’s sadness, UV’s mother asks her what is troubling her. Katha questions whether a girl’s life must completely change after marriage. UV’s mother replies thoughtfully that a woman’s life keeps changing at many stages. They share a heartfelt conversation about life and relationships. Katha realises that UV’s mother is unaware of her true identity, while UV’s mother learns about Katha’s married life.

Katha requests UV’s mother to consider her as family. Touched, UV’s mother blesses her. Katha humbly says that she has already been blessed by Maharaj Ji, the man she married. Smiling, UV’s mother says both Katha and her husband are fortunate to have each other. Katha then invites her to attend the Janmashtami puja at her house the next day. Though hesitant at first, UV’s mother eventually agrees and leaves. Elsewhere, UV grows emotional, wondering about his mother’s whereabouts and admitting to himself how much he misses her.

Later, Katha tries to set up her tea stall at a fair, but the organizer refuses since she isn’t registered. Disheartened, Katha worries that she may not be able to repay UV after all. At that moment, a drunken girl crashes her car into Katha’s vehicle. Though shocked, Katha helps the girl recover from her intoxication by giving her herbal juice. The girl, Aarya, praises Katha for her kindness and helps her secure permission to put up the tea stall. Katha feels relieved and thanks Aarya wholeheartedly.

Precap: UV informs Eshwar that Katha is selling tea on the roadside. A shocked Eshwar orders Katha to stop immediately, saying it could damage the family’s reputation. He also reveals that UV’s mother once chose her freedom over her children and left the house years ago. Katha is left stunned, while UV reacts with anger.
