At the fair, UV arrives with his friends and asks about their stall’s performance. He grows worried when he notices that very few people are approaching them. On questioning, Sandy reveals that a competing stall is attracting the crowd. UV tries to identify the stall owner but fails. He only learns that herbal drinks are being served there. Frustrated, UV mutters that neither gobar devi nor herbal drinks are leaving him alone. At that moment, Aarya arrives and invites UV to taste the herbal drink. He agrees. When he asks for a drink, Katha turns around with a glass in her hand. Both Katha and UV are stunned to see each other.

UV lashes out at Katha, accusing her of risking the Jindal family’s reputation by selling tea on the road. He orders her to shut down the stall. Katha refuses and questions what right he has over her decisions. Enraged, UV asks the crowd to disperse, but Katha stops them, saying she will continue serving herbal drinks. UV warns her again, but Aarya supports Katha, asking UV to back off. UV snaps at Aarya, telling her not to interfere. He then forcefully drags Katha towards his car. Watching from a distance, Tammy feels pleased, convinced that Eshwar will now surely turn against Katha.

Katha refuses to sit in the car and reminds UV that he himself vowed to end their marriage within six months, so he has no right to control her life. Furious, UV forces her into the car and drives away. Tejas, who witnesses everything from afar, realises that UV and Katha are husband and wife. He decides to create trouble in their lives as revenge.

At the Jindal house, Eshwar instructs the family about the arrangements for the Janmashtami puja. He then asks about Katha’s whereabouts. Just then, UV brings Katha home. The family members are upset with UV for his aggressive behaviour. UV announces that Katha was selling herbal drinks at the Independence Day fair. Everyone is shocked. Chandrika harshly criticises Eshwar for making yet another wrong decision. UV taunts Eshwar for remaining silent while Katha broke his rules. He further brings up his mother’s suffering from years ago, leaving Katha stunned.

Eshwar asks Katha whether UV is telling the truth. Katha confirms it. An angry Eshwar questions her decision, saying he is there to support her, so why did she take such a step. Harshvardan also questions her. Katha replies that she has everything in this house, yet she wants to be an independent woman, which is why she chose to start a business. She adds that she doesn’t understand why everyone is reacting so strongly.

Unexpectedly, UV says Katha did nothing wrong. He declares that Eshwar despises women stepping out for work or business. Eshwar openly agrees and says UV’s mother proved his belief right by leaving her husband and son in pursuit of money and freedom. A furious UV warns Eshwar not to insult his mother, but Eshwar coldly responds that the truth is always bitter.

Precap: During the Janmashtami puja, UV misses his mother deeply. Eshwar declares that he will never forgive UV’s mother for hurting his grandson by abandoning him. Katha arrives at the Jindal house with UV’s mother, shocking everyone.
