Chandrika and Eshwar insult Uv’s mother, which triggers an intense reaction from Uv. He angrily orders them to stop and firmly warns everyone not to utter a single word against his mother. Eshwar coldly claims that Uv’s mother never loved him. This infuriates Uv, who declares that he is certain of his mother’s love and says Eshwar has no right to question it. Chandrika continues to pass orders concerning Uv’s mother and even compares her to Katha. Uv again intervenes and warns the entire family to stop criticising his mother or comparing her with Katha. He challenges Eshwar, stating that when his mother returns, the truth behind her departure from the house will be revealed. Katha tries to reason with Eshwar, asking him to respect Uv’s belief, but he shuts her down and tells her not to interfere. Uv warns Katha and storms out.

Later, Eshwar instructs Katha not to step outside for work, declaring that the men of the house will earn while the women stay inside to manage the family. Katha attempts to change his rigid mindset but fails. Eshwar reminds her to focus only on the purpose for which he brought her into the house as a daughter in law and not encourage other women unnecessarily. His words deeply hurt Katha.
After Eshwar leaves, Chandrika lashes out at Katha, accusing her of pretending to be an ideal daughter in law. She mocks Katha for carefully noting down instructions about family duties but failing to implement them. Chandrika also humiliates Mohan and Vandana, blaming them for Katha’s upbringing. Katha firmly asks Chandrika not to insult her uncle and aunt. Accepting her mistake, Katha says she is ready to face any punishment. Chandrika then assigns her the entire responsibility of arranging the Janmashtami puja alone, scheduled for the next day. Shikha questions how Katha will manage everything by herself, but Chandrika ignores her concern and strictly orders Katha to handle everything perfectly. Katha silently agrees and leaves, while Ambika looks visibly delighted by the situation.
A broken Katha goes to Naina’s room and breaks down. Worried, Naina asks what happened. Katha blames Uv for her suffering. Soon, Tammy arrives with Pari and Ash. Tammy taunts Katha, accusing her of disrupting Uv’s work and boldly declaring herself to be Uv’s special friend. Katha questions Tammy about what right she has to make such claims, leaving Tammy speechless. Pari and Ash then assert their authority as daughters of the family, lamenting that they too are not allowed to pursue their careers outside. They reprimand Katha and leave.
Naina later explains to Katha that Uv is unaware of Tammy’s feelings and that Tammy is exploiting this situation. She adds that the growing closeness between Uv and Tammy is clearly affecting Katha. Katha denies it but decides to confront Uv for humiliating her.
At the office, Uv is on a call with an investor when Katha barges in, forcing him to disconnect. A fierce argument erupts, with both accusing each other. The confrontation escalates when Uv pins Katha against the wall and coldly declares that there is no relationship between them, bringing the episode to a dramatic close.
