Ishani tells Anurag that she is not always in a hurry. Anurag responds that rushing things often ruins them and informs her that her regular classes will begin from the next day. Pihu excitedly tells Anurag that she will invite him to her brother Yash’s wedding. Ishani questions why Anurag should be disturbed when he is already busy. Anurag remarks that it seems Ishani does not want him to attend the wedding. Pihu quickly clarifies that Ishani has no such issue.
Ishani states that since Pihu has already invited Anurag, her opinion no longer matters. Pihu asks Ishani not to speak rudely and insists that she personally invite Anurag. Ishani replies that Anurag will attend if he wishes, regardless of her invitation. Feeling awkward, Anurag leaves.
Later, Shashwat asks Pihu about her studies, and she replies that everything is going well. He then asks Ishani about her exam. Ishani says she is waiting for the results. Raj Didi comments that the results will expose everything. Pihu defends Ishani, saying she studies sincerely. Shashwat remarks that Pihu has started speaking too much these days.
Pihu emotionally tells Shashwat that she feels he never loved her mother, as she often saw her mother crying. Raj Didi questions whether Pihu understands what she is saying. Ishani intervenes and asks Pihu to stop. She informs Shashwat that she prepared samosas because he had asked for them. Just then, the doorbell rings.
Shashwat opens the door and is shocked to see Nandini Bhabi. He warmly welcomes her. Pihu and Raj Didi greet Nandini, who says she is meeting them after many years. Raj Didi asks when Nandini arrived in Kolkata. Nandini replies that she is staying in a hotel for six months. When questioned further, Nandini reveals that Raj Didi’s brother left her, and she now has many responsibilities.
Raj Didi informs Nandini that Yash’s marriage has been fixed and urges her to take responsibility for the wedding preparations. Nandini asks about Shashwat’s wife. Pihu introduces Ishani to her. Nandini comments that she once saw someone resembling Ishani working as a maid. Shashwat asks Nandini to stay with them and expresses relief that she can help manage Yash’s wedding.
Nandini asks what Ishani does. Ishani replies that she is a homemaker. Pihu adds that Ishani recently joined college. Nandini questions whether studying at this age makes sense. Pihu firmly states that there is no age limit for education. Nandini then asks about Yash’s fiancée, and Yash tells her about Ankita.
Raj Didi asks Ishani to bring juice for Nandini. Pihu immediately objects and tells Raj Didi not to speak to Ishani rudely, reminding her that Ishani is the daughter-in-law of the house, just like Nandini, not a servant.
Shashwat suggests going to a restaurant. Yash says he already has dinner plans with Ankita. Raj Didi asks Pihu to accompany Shashwat. When Pihu asks who else will go, Shashwat says he will take Pihu and Nandini. Pihu then asks about Ishani. Shashwat replies that Ishani has just returned from her exam and can stay at home.
