Aditi asks the family why they are all silent. Indumati tells Aditi that they are in the hospital and cannot take any risk with Dadabhai’s health. She asks Aditi to understand that they are not supporting Jhanak. Aditi tells Rishi that Jhanak is applying vermilion in his name. Rishi asks what he can do about it. Aditi questions why he called her to the hospital when he knew Jhanak was already there. She leaves angrily, and Rishi follows her.
Outside the hospital, Rishi asks Aditi to listen to him. He suggests that they can leave the city. Aditi asks why she should sacrifice her career and lifestyle because of Jhanak. She says Rishi should have called her to Simulboni when the villagers forced him. She adds that she cannot face humiliation anymore. Rishi tells her that she knows how much he loves her. He explains that the villagers snatched his phone from him. He asks her not to think that he married Jhanak willingly. Aditi asks him to stop making her feel guilty.
Rishi says he will stay away from her. Aditi replies that this will not change anything. Rishi tells her that he did not know Dadabhai wanted to meet Jhanak. Aditi reminds him that Dadabhai has accepted Jhanak as his daughter-in-law. Rishi says Aditi is the most important person in his life, and he is ready to leave his family for her. He adds that he will live alone if Aditi does not support him. He repeats that Jhanak is not his wife.
Aditi says there is no guarantee that Jhanak will not come to their new place. Rishi breaks down and calls himself a liar and characterless. He says he does not deserve anyone and will vanish from Aditi’s life. Aditi asks him to stop. Rishi accuses her of not trusting him. Aditi says she did not break his trust. Rishi tells her to do whatever she wants and says she does not deserve to be in his life. Aditi admits that she is unable to behave normally. She agrees to go with Rishi to a psychiatrist. Rishi reassures her that everything will be fine and asks whether she loves him. Aditi nods and hugs him.
Later, Putul tells Jhanak that they cannot tell anything to Dadabhai. Jhanak agrees and says they should not do that. She decides to talk to Nutan. Putul asks Jhanak not to take Rishi’s words seriously. Jhanak replies that Rishi’s words do not affect her. Putul asks whether Rishi is truly not special to her. Jhanak questions why Rishi should be special to her. Putul says it is because Rishi married her. Jhanak clearly states that Rishi does not matter to her, she will not accept him as her husband, and she wants Rishi to marry Aditi.
