Aditi questions Parashar about why he expected Rishi to come to the village to care for Jhanak. Parashar asks who she is, and Aditi reveals she is Rishi’s future wife. Rishi tells Parashar that he never accepted the forced marriage and does not recognize Jhanak as his wife. Kanka asks what Jhanak was doing in his house.

Rishi explains that Jhanak was living as a maid in his house, a decision she took because the villagers forced her there. He emphasizes that Aditi is his fiancée, and he will marry her once Dadabhai is discharged. Parashar asserts that the marriage between Rishi and Jhanak did happen, and it doesn’t matter whether Rishi accepts it or not. Rishi says he only married Jhanak to save his life and blames the villagers for all the problems. He insists he will definitely marry Aditi.
Putul asks him to stop, but Rishi continues, explaining the hardships he faced in Simulboni. He reminds Nutan that he already has a fiancée and wants Parashar to understand the extent of his suffering due to the forced marriage. He mentions that even his job is at risk and reiterates that, although he is grateful to Jhanak for saving Dadabhai’s life, she will never accept that gratitude because he loves Aditi. He instructs Parashar to take Jhanak back to Simulboni.
Dadabhai intervenes, taunting Rishi. He says that whether Rishi accepts Jhanak or not is irrelevant, as Dadabhai has accepted her as his daughter. He declares that Jhanak will stay in their house and tells Rishi to find another place to stay if he has any problem with this. Rishi and Aditi are shocked. Rishi reluctantly tells Dadabhai to be happy with his new daughter and leaves with Aditi.
Meanwhile, a senior officer instructs a police officer to summon Jhanak for Rishi’s inquiry, noting that he could save his job if he formally accepts Jhanak as his wife.
The next day, the doctor advises Dadabhai to be careful with his diet. Rishi informs the family that Aniruddh sent a car for a comfortable journey home. Abhimanyu asks about Rishi’s meeting, and Rishi replies it will happen tomorrow. Aditi mentions she spoke to Aniruddh for help. Dadabhai asks what they are discussing, and Rishi says they will talk at home. The family leaves. Meanwhile, a police officer calls Jhanak, asking her to give a statement the next day in Rishi’s case.
Later, Dadabhai asks about Jhanak’s whereabouts. The family tells him not to speak of her, but Dadabhai insists that she is his responsibility. Aditi admits that Dadabhai won’t forget Jhanak, and he agrees, praising the purity of Jhanak’s heart. Rishi realizes he will face an inquiry because of her.
Jhanak goes to the temple and obtains the priest’s permission to stay there. She prays to God for Rishi’s job and happiness, promising to fulfill her duties as a wife forever.
Precap: Jhanak meets with an accident. Rishi, worried, reaches her and wonders why he came to see her.
