A letter in Uday’s hand falls into the water, and he quickly retrieves it. Katha rushes to him, asking what happened. Uday tells her that his mother has arrived and asks if she has seen anyone. Katha suggests that if his mother had truly arrived, she wouldn’t have left without meeting him, implying that Uday must have dreamed about her. Angered, Uday shouts that she won’t understand his feelings. Katha counters, saying she does understand, as she knows the pain of growing up without a mother. She adds that at least Uday still has hope of seeing his mother, unlike her. Uday apologises and leaves. Katha reflects on his alternating bitter and sweet behaviour and smiles.

Outside the house, Pari struggles to get a cab. Tejas arrives and offers to drop her, planning to use her to create a rift between Katha and Uday. Pari thanks him and is pleased when he agrees to drop her the next day as well. She shares that she has recently started her new job and enters the office. Tejas smirks, thinking his plan is working.
At the office, Pari begins her program and gives herbal tea packets to her boss, which she secretly took from Katha. She feels guilty about pursuing her ambition in secret. Meanwhile, Katha praises an RJ’s voice and is shocked when Shikha tells her it sounds like Pari. Katha recalls Pari leaving the house at odd hours and worries she may be breaking Eshwar’s rules but chooses not to suspect her. She then notices two herbal tea packets missing. Jhumki suggests Tammy might be behind it, and Katha resolves to find the culprit. Pari, meanwhile, regrets stealing the tea and plans to confess to Uday.
Back at home, Chandrika scolds Katha for spending all her time on her orders instead of household chores and sends her to do other work. Uday meets investors who give him a day to make them choose his café proposal. He agrees and asks his cousins and friends to help design a unique café theme. Struggling to explain, Katha steps in to share Uday’s emotions for his café. Uday becomes speechless. Shlok and Charu tease them, and when Katha continues to explain, Uday tells her to leave. Upset, she exits while Tammy feels pleased.
Pratty questions Uday’s harsh treatment of Katha. Uday explains that Katha has limited time to complete her order and he doesn’t want to waste it. He adds that the only thing they share is self-respect. Katha, meanwhile, shares Uday’s behaviour with Gayatri, telling her that the only thing they truly have in common is the absence of their mothers.
Precap: Katha promises Gayatri she will reunite her with her son. She brings Gayatri to the Jindal house, calling her a gift for Uday. Uday becomes emotional seeing his mother but shockingly closes the door on them, leaving Katha stunned.
