Tejas confronts Katha, mocking her relationship with Uday. He harshly criticizes her for having only a namesake bond with Uday and questions him. Katha warns Tejas not to involve Uday, praising him as a good human being, a respectful son, friend, and brother. Tejas taunts her further, asking if Uday is a good husband, and mocks her by recalling Uday’s earlier statement to the media about their relationship. Uday and his cousins overhear this. Pratty appreciates Katha for defending Uday in his absence.

When Tejas tries to approach Naina, Uday intervenes, reminding him of the consequences of his earlier actions. Tejas leaves but vows to return to take Naina with him. Meanwhile, Katha shares a light moment with Uday, and Tejas becomes determined to separate them.
Back at the house, Chandrika voices her concerns to Eshwar and the family about Naina’s stay. Rukmini insists they allow it. Chandrika scolds her and informs Eshwar about Uday’s financial help to Katha’s family. Eshwar defends Uday, explaining that he married Katha to reform Uday into a family man. Chandrika criticises Katha, claiming she will eventually bring her entire family into the house. Eshwar assures that Katha will not harm the family’s reputation. Katha arrives and promises Chandrika she will not do anything to spoil the family’s reputation.
Katha then requests Eshwar’s permission to work so she can repay Uday. Eshwar initially refuses, offering to help her himself, but Katha insists on repaying with her own money. Ambika questions her, and Chandrika criticises her for trying to break family rules. Katha informs everyone about a man’s offer to buy her herbal tea. She reminds Eshwar of his earlier promise, and he agrees to let her work, asking her to ensure the family’s reputation is not compromised. Katha promises this and looks at Uday, who nods at her with a smile. She informs Uday about the offer, expressing her hope to repay him soon.
Later, Katha talks to Gayatri via video call, praising her sweets and her handwriting in a letter. Gayatri decides to send sweets again. While retrieving the phone charger, Katha’s saree catches Gayatri’s letter, causing her to fall into the room where Uday is sleeping. Uday, hearing the sound, wakes up and becomes emotional seeing his mother’s handwritten letter, calling everyone over. Katha is confused when she sees Pari leaving with excuses and grows concerned seeing Uday’s emotional state.
Precap: Gayatri apologises and promises not to go out to a person who locks her in a room. Katha, noticing Gayatri’s locket, suspects she is Uday’s mother and decides to inform him.
