Surjo dismisses Noyontara’s claim as just a dream, saying that seeing something in a dream does not make it reality. Sashodhar adds that he would have known if Lalita had a twin sister. Poulomi questions Noyontara if she only called Nani to ask about this. Nani confirms that Noyontara is truthful and reveals that Lalita did have a twin sister, Lata, who went missing at a fair many years ago despite efforts to locate her. Lalita remarks that they might have found Lata if they had searched properly back then.

Ashalata suspects that Noyontara would not bring up this topic without a reason. Nani asks Lalita if she remembers Lata, and Lalita admits she only recalls now. Noyontara explains that she invited Nani to attend the pooja, which Surjo supports.
Nani inquires whether Noyontara possesses divine powers. Surjo claims that Noyontara only pretends she can see ghosts. Nani tells Noyontara that she prayed for Lata’s safety and asks if Noyontara has seen Lata’s spirit. Noyontara replies that this has nothing to do with her powers and questions if there is any difference between Lalita and Lata. Lalita shows her mother her leg, claiming Lata had a mole there, but the mole is missing. Shocked, Noyontara realizes that Lalita is hiding the truth. She decides to begin the pooja.
Poulomi asks Surjo and Noyontara to sit. Noyontara perches on Surjo’s lap while watching Lalita, prompting Surjo to question her action. Noyontara apologizes for the mistake. The pooja concludes. Surjo asks if he can leave, but Noyontara says she must wash the feet of three married women, hinting at her plan to reveal Lalita’s mole. She washes Ashalata and Poulomi’s feet and calls Lalita.
Lalita brings Pratima and asks Noyontara to wash her feet too. Realizing she cannot expose Lalita now, Noyontara complies. Surjo observes Noyontara winning Pratima’s heart, making it harder to remove her from the house. Pratima remarks that Surjo is fortunate to have Noyontara as his wife. Meanwhile, Ashalata questions Vinoth about messaging her as “Maa” and learns that Noyontara refers to Lalita as “maasi.” Hashiram overhears their conversation.
Later, Hashiram searches for Noyontara and learns that Surjo is booking a ticket to London. Lalita strangles Noyontara, accusing her of trying to expose her. Noyontara insists that although she failed today, she will succeed next time. Lalita warns that Surjo could fall into a coma like Madhobi if she continues.
Determined, Noyontara rushes into Surjo’s room and hugs him, but her hair gets stuck on his shirt. Surjo warns her that he will be blamed if anything happens. Noyontara asks him not to move. Pratima assures Surjo that he cannot be separated from Noyontara, even if he wants to. Jaya hands Noyontara scissors on Surjo’s instruction. Surjo tells her to cut her hair, but Noyontara cleverly cuts his shirt button instead. Surjo questions her action, and Noyontara says she can repair it later, insisting that her hair will be ruined otherwise. Surjo scolds her for spilling vermillion on his shirt, but as Noyontara slips, he holds her to prevent a fall.
Precap: Surjo tells Noyontara that Kolkata looks beautiful from there. He confesses that he felt as if he died along with Shaoli. Noyontara prays for Surjo and reminds him that love is not a matter of business.
