Indu, Ritesh, and Zoon arrive at the hospital together. Feeling tired, Zoon refuses to walk and asks to be carried. Before Indu can respond, Ritesh lifts Zoon in his arms. A woman observing them smiles and comments that Zoon is lucky to have such a caring father. Innocently, Zoon turns to Ritesh and asks if he is her father, leaving him speechless. Indu quickly clarifies that Ritesh is not Zoon’s father. The woman apologizes for the misunderstanding and leaves.
Inside the doctor’s cabin, Ritesh keeps Zoon engaged while her temperature is checked. The doctor reassures them that Zoon’s fever is now under control. Both Indu and Ritesh feel relieved. The doctor then asks Zoon to step outside and play in the play area, sending a nurse along with her.
Concerned, Indu questions the doctor, wondering why Zoon was sent out if everything is fine. The doctor hesitates to discuss sensitive matters in front of Ritesh, but he assures her that it is okay. Indu introduces Ritesh as her friend and asks the doctor to speak freely. Though surprised, Ritesh remains quiet. The doctor explains that Zoon is too young to handle emotional stress and must be kept away from any troubling situations, as it could deeply affect her future.
In the play area, Zoon is surprised to see Nikhil. She excitedly tells him she has come with Indu and Ritesh. Nikhil teasingly asks if Ritesh is her “one-day father.” Hurt by his words, Zoon warns him not to speak like that or she will stop talking to him. Nikhil immediately apologizes and explains what he means by a father—someone who buys gifts, fulfills wishes, takes care of children, and even argues with mothers to make their kids happy. His words leave Zoon thoughtful.
Nikhil further adds that fathers step in especially when mothers are not around. He asks Zoon whether Ritesh has done any of these things for her. Zoon admits that Ritesh once gifted her a phone, but Indu returned it. She grows quiet, reflecting on Nikhil’s idea of a father figure.
Elsewhere, Kaamna scolds a house worker and orders her to serve food. She then confronts Dolly, asserting that only the person who has Ritesh’s support can rule the house. She boasts about the sacrifices she made to secure her position and warns Dolly to stay within her limits, even splashing water in her direction. Dolly, though furious, walks away silently.
Soon, Sameer arrives with information about Indu. He hands Kaamna a file containing details of Indu’s family, her bank loans, and her dealings with a moneylender. Learning that Satish is the moneylender, Kaamna decides to meet him immediately.
Meanwhile, Ritesh, Indu, and Zoon are driving together. Ritesh suggests going out for lunch. Indu objects, worried that outside food might affect Zoon’s health. Zoon, however, insists, and Ritesh supports her, saying fresh air and a change of environment will help her recover. Though hesitant and burdened with other worries, Indu finally agrees.
On the other side, Satish brags over the phone about how he lends money but never lets anyone take advantage of him. Soon, strangers approach him, confirming his identity. At the same time, Ritesh excitedly suggests going to Lonavala for lunch since he has the day off. Though Indu initially resists due to the long travel, Zoon, influenced by Nikhil’s words, stubbornly insists. Reluctantly, Indu agrees, while worrying about her pending meeting with Satish.
Sameer stops Satish from leaving, and Kaamna appears, smirking at him. Back at home, Sunita scolds Rajender for entering the kitchen despite his recent injury and urges him to rest. She informs him that Ritesh has taken Indu and Zoon to Lonavala for lunch and asks him not to overexert himself.
At the hotel, Zoon notices Ritesh trying to hide his face and questions him. He explains that he simply wants to spend time with her. When asked where they would like to sit, Zoon chooses the family area. Though Indu prefers outdoor seating, Ritesh notices Zoon’s disappointment and opts for the family section, making her happy.
As they wait for food, Indu worries about Satish’s threats. She argues with Ritesh for ordering too much food, fearing waste. Zoon happily watches them bicker, recalling Nikhil’s words about parents. Indu receives a call from Satish and steps aside to answer it. Meanwhile, Ritesh gently helps Zoon clean a stain on her dress.
Watching Ritesh’s care, Zoon realizes he has done everything Nikhil described a father would do. She smiles to herself, beginning to see Ritesh as her father figure. Outside, Satish shocks Indu by demanding three lakhs to be repaid the same day. Despite her pleas, he disconnects the call. Panicked, Indu contacts Payal to ask about withdrawing her PF money. From a distance, Ritesh notices Indu’s distressed expression.
Elsewhere, Kaamna coldly instructs Satish to complete one final task, exchanging a knowing look with Sameer.
Precap: Zoon is horrified to see Satish and his men vandalizing the house and threatening Indu. Terrified, she calls Ritesh and tells him there is a major problem at home. She then witnesses someone attacking Rajender, screams, and drops her phone. Later, Indu and Ritesh desperately search for Zoon. Furious and afraid, Ritesh warns Indu that he will not forgive her if anything happens to Zoon, leaving Indu in tears.
