Noyontara points out to Lalita that Surjo’s real mother never had a mole on her feet. Taken aback, Lalita questions her claim, but Noyontara quickly realises that Lalita is lying. She is then taken to the kitchen, where she is horrified to see the spirits of dead brides. One of the spirits warns her that sin is spreading within the house, and Noyontara repeats the unsettling words aloud.
This angers Mala, who snaps and accuses Noyontara of deliberately insulting the family. Poulomi questions Noyontara’s strange behaviour, but the dead bride insists that evil lurks in every corner of the mansion and urges Noyontara to uncover and destroy it. Witnessing the terrifying transformation of the spirits, Noyontara collapses in shock.
Elsewhere, Surjo decides to leave the house, unwilling to deal with what he calls Noyontara’s drama. Mala informs him that Noyontara has fainted, but Surjo dismisses it as an act. When told she will be brought to his room, he refuses outright. Mohor pleads with him to at least check on her, reminding him that he is a doctor. Though reluctant, Surjo finally examines Noyontara, while Lalita silently notes that Noyontara is far from naive and will not be easy to manipulate.
Concerned by Noyontara’s rapid heartbeat, Surjo asks for his blood pressure machine and splashes water on her face. When she regains consciousness, Noyontara notices the spirits have vanished. Confused, she asks who all reside in the house. Annoyed, Surjo accuses her of putting on another act and storms off. Lalita then announces that Noyontara will stay in her room for the night, leaving Noyontara wondering if someone has died in the house.
As Lalita shows her around the rooms, Noyontara grows uneasy and senses that sharing a room with her may be dangerous. Suddenly, she notices red footprints trailing behind her. Turning around, she is terrified to see countless red feet and hears the voices of the dead brides again. When Lalita asks what is wrong, Noyontara boldly refuses to stay in her room and declares that Lalita is not her real mother-in-law. She directly asks whether Lalita killed Surjo’s real mother.
Meanwhile, Surjo speaks to Shaoli’s photograph, admitting defeat and confessing that he filled Noyontara’s forehead with vermilion that rightfully belonged to Shaoli alone. Mohor arrives with Shashodhar and informs Surjo that Noyontara will be staying with Lalita, prompting Shashodhar to remark that Lalita has changed.
Back in the corridor, Lalita questions Noyontara’s courage in accusing her so openly. Noyontara responds fearlessly, stating that she came to protect Surjo. Surprisingly, Lalita praises her honesty and asks her to consider her an enemy—though she insists she is not one. She claims responsibility for bringing Noyontara into the house, but Noyontara counters that it was Surjo’s mother who guided her there. Laughing, Lalita mocks the idea of spirits having any power and questions who arranged Noyontara’s marriage.
Noyontara recalls Gurudev persuading her to marry Surjo and asks if he is Lalita’s accomplice. Lalita promises to explain everything later that night but warns Noyontara not to reveal her true identity to anyone. She threatens that Surjo’s life will be at risk if the truth comes out, then walks away. Left alone, Noyontara wonders what Lalita truly wants from her.
Precap: Surjo questions Lalita for giving Shaoli’s place to Noyontara, while Lalita believes Surjo will be shattered once he learns who actually killed Shaoli. Meanwhile, Poulomi interrogates Noyontara about the spirit she saw and her confrontation with Lalita.
