Choto Tammi accuses Noyontara of possessing evil powers. Lalita immediately intervenes, asking Choto Tammi to stop spreading baseless claims. Choto Tammi warns Lalita to consider Surjo’s future and questions whether she wants Surjo to suffer. Lalita reassures her that she knows how to protect her son and insists that calling Noyontara unlucky is wrong. She explains that the black marks on Noyontara’s feet may have been caused by mud since she was drenched in rain recently.

Noyontara suggests that there might be black ink on the plate. Choto Tammi doubts it, but Noyontara examines and smells the plate, proving her point. The bride ghosts reappear, and one of them approaches Noyontara, telling her that she has the power to end injustice and bring light to darkness. All the bride ghosts affirm that Noyontara can achieve this.

Mohor observes Noyontara’s confidence and realizes she is not a naive village girl. She goes to Surjo’s room to inform him of the situation, mentioning that she would have blamed someone else if needed.
