Noyontara reads Ashalata’s letter and mistakenly assumes that Surjo wants to meet her later that night. She becomes anxious, knowing it is Kaalratri, a time considered dangerous. At that moment, Lalita’s spirit appears and offers her blessings. Noyontara respectfully accepts them, acknowledging her role as the spirit’s daughter-in-law. The spirit urges her to remain fearless, reminding her that this is only the beginning. She describes the house as a Chakravyuh and challenges Noyontara to break free from it. She reveals that only Noyontara can see and hear her, which is why she chose her for Surjo, and asks if she is ready to protect him.
Noyontara shares that she has identified the spirit’s enemy and believes the woman pretending to be Lalita is actually her twin sister. She explains that the fake Lalita also claimed to have chosen her for Surjo. Unbeknownst to her, the real Lalita overhears this conversation and realizes that Noyontara is communicating with the spirit.
The spirit confirms that her twin sister is indeed her adversary and recalls that the twin went missing when they were eight years old. Suddenly, Lalita storms into the room and declares that the spirit must be present. She claims the spirit does not know what happened after her disappearance and insists she is powerless to help Noyontara. She threatens to perform pind daan if the spirit does not leave. Noyontara reassures the spirit and tells her to go, promising to take responsibility for Surjo’s safety. The spirit disappears.
Lalita warns Noyontara not to cross her boundaries, threatening that Surjo will die if she does. When questioned about how she could harm her own nephew, Lalita reveals dark truths about Surjo’s ancestors, accusing them of amassing wealth through immoral means. She claims there is hidden treasure in Pari Mahal and orders Noyontara to find it. When asked how, Lalita says she will explain the next day and leaves, mentioning she has rituals to perform. Noyontara is left confused about the strange timing of these rituals.
Elsewhere, Pratima struggles as Meena grips her forcefully. Noyontara intervenes and saves her. Meena reminds Noyontara that she is not truly accepted as the daughter-in-law and threatens to complain to Surjo. Pratima pleads with Noyontara, revealing that she is often locked inside a room and begs for help. She cryptically mentions that Pari Mahal itself walks. Meena forcibly drags Pratima away.
Meanwhile, Ashalata calls Surjo and complains that Noyontara is wandering around the house as if searching for something. She believes Noyontara will soon be thrown out for attempting to meet Surjo on Kaalratri and smugly walks away. Soon after, fog spreads through the area. Noyontara notices Pari walking and realizes Pratima may have been telling the truth. Surjo confronts her, asking what she is doing there. She covers her face with her pallu and tells him that he called her. Surjo accuses her of lying.
Noyontara directly asks Surjo about Shaoli’s death and reveals that Shaoli’s spirit believes he is responsible. She insists she must prove his innocence, or Shaoli will kill him. Surjo, furious, orders her to stop lying and pulls away her pallu. Noyontara recalls Poulomi’s warning that a wife seeing her husband’s face on Kaalratri is an ill omen.
