Mr. Agarwal confronts Eshwar, questioning his sudden decision to fix UV’s wedding with Katha, pointing out their mutual dislike. Kailash is equally shocked and demands an explanation. Eshwar asserts that although UV has clashed with everyone in the family, no one has been able to change him, but he believes Katha can. Ambika attempts to speak, but Vinith interrupts, warning her to stay silent. Ambika mutters that she doesn’t want UV and Eshwar to reconcile. Rukmini expresses her frustration at Eshwar, upset that he blames their love for UV’s stubbornness. Eshwar remains confident that only Katha can transform UV. Chandrika scoffs and criticises Katha, while Eshwar prays to God to help unite them in marriage. The priest warns of negative consequences if the wedding is delayed, leaving Rukmini anxious while Eshwar stays determined.
Eshwar approaches UV, ordering him to marry Katha without creating a scene. UV refuses, prompting Eshwar to demand his café keys back. Surprisingly, UV hands them over, stating that if he cannot reopen his café here, he will open one elsewhere. Eshwar worries that UV might leave the house permanently. Charu asks Shlok to convince UV, who has decided to leave Jaisalmer. Shlok reminds him of his promise to bring his mother back home, making UV realize that he must marry Katha, despite hating her, to reopen his café and fulfill his promise.
Meanwhile, Katha breaks down, recalling her mother’s struggles after her father abandoned them. Tearfully, she questions her mother’s photo about how she could love a man who betrayed her and why her father never checked on her. She remembers that her mother always defended him, blaming his circumstances instead.
In UV’s room, Eshwar orders him to reach the mandap within five minutes. UV’s cousins plead with him to reconsider Shlok’s words and stay. They sarcastically suggest that if he has to marry anyway, he might as well marry Katha, and later they will help him escape. UV smirks, deciding he will trouble Katha so much that she leaves him and ends the marriage herself.
Elsewhere, Katha overhears Vandana encouraging her, saying not all men are bad and asking her to consider her uncle Mohan. Feeling desperate, Katha calls her father, Prashant, but a lady answers rudely, scolds her for calling, and hangs up. Heartbroken, Katha blames herself for still hoping her father would care and screams in pain, declaring that no man can be trusted.
Precap: UV insists he will never accept Katha or their marriage. Katha responds that, like her studies, this marriage is just another responsibility. After the wedding, UV plans to leave before the vidaai. Chandrika expresses her doubts to Rukmini about Katha’s ability to stop him. Katha looks tense and worried.
