UV’s cousins thank him for his efforts. Pari checks on UV, asking if he is fine. UV responds that he is, but he refuses to participate in trivial matters like dancing. He says he wants to go to his room to change and rest. Shlok urges UV to stay and not go anywhere.
Meanwhile, Naina tells Katha that it is time for her family to leave. Katha admits she will feel lonely if they depart. Vandana reassures Katha, saying that UV’s large family will provide her with love and support. She blesses Katha, expressing confidence that she will be happy in UV’s house, and Mohan agrees. Katha recalls UV saying he does not even want to see her face, and she exchanges a glance with him.

Eshwar reassures Katha’s family not to worry, reminding them that she is part of his family. Katha’s family learns about her prank with the neem juice. Vandana praises Katha’s concern for the family. Mohan requests Eshwar to send UV and Katha for the pagphera ritual. Katha remembers UV’s refusal to participate in any rituals and hopes that Mohan and Vandana do not learn the truth. Her family departs.
Shlok instructs Charu to take Katha to UV’s room for their first night. UV tells Shlok he wants to eat. Shlok asks for the laptop, and UV goes to fetch it from his room. Shlok locks the door from outside. UV returns and discovers Katha inside, realizing Shlok has deceived him. Katha asks where he was going. UV tells her he will not stay if she is present. Katha sits on the bed, and UV suspects it is a conspiracy.
Meanwhile, UV’s cousins ask Shlok what is happening inside the room. Charu tells them not to disturb UV and Katha.
UV drinks a cup of coffee but spills it, prompting Katha to reveal that she switched it with an herbal drink that will help him sleep peacefully. Charu instructs Shlok to open the door, and everyone enters the room. Charu explains that she assisted Katha in preparing the herbal drink, and Shlok asks UV to accept that Katha cares about him.
UV complains that he cannot find peace and blames Katha for everything. Omi advises him to calm down, but UV says he cannot tolerate Katha’s presence. He demands that Katha stop her antics. Chandrika orders everyone out and instructs Katha to lock the room from inside before leaving. UV questions what Katha might do next, and Katha insists that he has misunderstood her. UV reminds her of her previous actions, including closing his café and putting him in jail, and asks what else she plans to do.
Precap: UV tells Katha that he will attend the pagphera ritual only if she speaks in English for two minutes. Katha delivers her speech flawlessly, leaving UV and others astonished.
