Chandrika advises Katha about the responsibilities of a new daughter in law in the house. She reflects on how the bond between a husband and wife grows stronger over time. Katha becomes emotional as she recalls UV’s harsh words. Chandrika then urges Katha to always keep the family united. Meanwhile, Ash complains to others about Katha’s actions, and Pari also criticises her. Eshwar arrives and praises Katha for her willingness to learn the duties of a new daughter in law. UV’s cousins hide behind a pillar on seeing him, but Eshwar notices them and taunts them. Rukmini defends them, and they express their affection for her before running away.

UV arrives and gets irritated when his cousins try to convince him to notice Katha’s efforts to impress the elders. He complains about Katha’s blackmail from the previous night. Shlok shows interest in knowing more, but UV refuses to share anything, accusing Shlok of trapping him earlier. UV declares that he no longer trusts any family member.
Later, Katha goes to the kitchen and is shocked to learn that Nathu Lal is preparing tea separately for everyone. She decides to prepare a herbal drink instead. Nathu Lal tries to stop her, but Katha refuses to change her decision. She serves the herbal drink to the family. The elders are surprised to see it instead of tea, and Eshwar, Kailash, and others question her. Katha calmly explains her reasoning. UV and his cousins arrive, and UV taunts Eshwar for allowing this change. To hide his dislike, Eshwar encourages everyone to drink it. The family insists that Eshwar taste it first. He agrees, and Katha silently prays. Eshwar smiles and praises Katha, prompting the rest of the family to drink and appreciate it as well. UV and his cousins are shocked.
UV taunts Shlok when Shlok asks Katha to share the recipe with Charu, so he can have the drink in Singapore. Katha agrees. Shlok asks UV to taste it, but UV refuses and demands tea from Nathu Lal before leaving. Katha feels upset and wonders how she can change UV’s habit of drinking tea.
Mohan arrives to take Katha and UV for the pagphere ritual. Rukmini shares her concern with Eshwar about who will convince UV. Shlok offers to speak to him, but Eshwar stops him and calls Katha instead. He expresses his helplessness and frustration with UV’s cousins, who refuse to help. Katha reminds herself that UV had made a promise to her, but she doubts whether he will keep it. Elsewhere, UV’s cousins tell Shikha that they will not help the elders because UV will be angry. Shikha scolds them.
In UV’s room, Tammy complains about him questioning her work and comparing her to Gobar Devi. UV and Sandy ask her to focus on her job, but Tammy blames Katha for trapping UV into marriage. She questions UV for accepting everything. UV angrily declares that he never accepted Gobar Devi as his wife. Katha, who overhears this from outside, is heartbroken.
Precap. UV challenges Katha to speak to him in English for two minutes. If she succeeds, he will accompany her to Mohan’s house for the ritual. Tammy mocks Katha, but is shocked when Katha completes the challenge. UV is left speechless.
