UV scolds Katha for dropping the bucket of water and immediately goes out to fetch it himself. He asks the neighbours for permission, who tease him, saying he clearly cannot stay away from his wife. Both UV and Katha feel awkward by the remarks and return inside the house. Vandana is shocked to see UV carrying the heavy bucket and asks him not to do such things. UV reassures everyone that it is not a big deal and goes inside. Vandana later scolds Katha for allowing UV to carry the water. Katha vents out her frustration, saying UV did not listen to her at all. She also tells Vandana about her injuries, which worries her.

UV brings ointment for Katha, but she refuses to apply it, saying she prefers herbal remedies. She asks Naina to bring neem paste, and Naina agrees. In the room, Katha overhears UV angrily venting about her stubborn nature and calling her names. She confronts him. Just then, Naina brings the neem paste and leaves, making an excuse. UV smells the paste, and when Katha questions him, he says he is checking whether she mixed gobar in it. He forcefully makes Katha sit and starts applying the paste to her wounds. Katha is left speechless. After applying it, UV asks if she feels any burning sensation. Katha replies that this pain is nothing compared to the pain caused by his words. This leaves UV stunned.
Vandana enters the room and apologises to both Katha and UV for the inconvenience they are facing. She then removes their gathbandhan and leaves. Naina grows emotional, recalling her dream of bringing Tejash into the house after marriage and performing all the rituals. Later, Naina asks Katha whether UV will eat with them, as she has not seen him eat with his family. Katha assures her that she will ask him. Vandana joins the conversation, and Naina mentions the possibility of a food shortage. Vandana suggests that UV, Katha, and Mohan eat first while she and Naina manage later. Katha refuses and insists that only UV and Mohan should eat. Vandana disagrees, saying Katha must eat with UV as it is part of the ritual.
At that moment, UV arrives, complaining about having to bathe with cold water. He overhears their discussion and immediately calls Sandy, asking him to send food to Katha’s house. Katha later asks UV if he is comfortable eating with her family. UV tells her not to overthink and heads to the dining area. He is surprised to see the amount of food served, but Vandana and Katha misunderstand his reaction, assuming he is not used to simple food. Vandana praises UV’s cooking skills, which makes him happy, and he taunts Katha. He then insists on ordering food from his café for everyone, leaving Katha speechless.
Later, Mohan brings the food bags inside and asks what is happening. Vandana explains that UV ordered food from his café. UV lays out all the food and asks everyone to eat. He tells Katha that he knows she must be doubting his intentions. Katha, however, thanks him for respecting and honouring her uncle and aunt. She remains confused by UV’s thoughtful gesture, which he notices. UV reflects to himself that Chef UV cannot watch anyone suffer. He becomes emotional, remembering the last meal he shared with his mother.
The episode ends with Naina and Prerna’s mischievous act trapping UV and Katha inside a mosquito net, forcing them into close proximity.
