Ishani tells Shashwat that he will have to pay for his actions and that one day he will be in her place. Shashwat glares at her and closes the door. Ishani cries and sits there, eventually falling asleep.
The next day, neighbors see Ishani sleeping outside the house and approach her. Ishani wakes up hearing them. A neighbor asks what she is doing there. Ishani explains that Shashwat threw her out last night. The neighbor asks how Shashwat can behave that way just because he is rich. Noticing a mark on Ishani’s cheek, she understands that Shashwat slapped her and suggests filing a police complaint.

Ishani asks how she can do that. The neighbor tells her not to tolerate domestic violence and assures her that they will fight for her. The neighbors pledge their support. Ishani wonders whether she should call Anurag, but asks them not to get directly involved. The neighbor insists they won’t tolerate this injustice and knocks on the door.
Shashwat asks Raj Didi whether Ishani has returned. They hear the neighbors outside. Shashwat opens the door. The neighbors enter the house with Ishani. Shashwat asks what they are doing there. Raj Didi questions why they are making a scene early in the morning. Nandini asks if Ishani called them. A neighbor replies that they saw Ishani outside and came to help her. She scolds the Senguptas for throwing Ishani out at night, questioning whether Shashwat married Ishani only to commit domestic violence and asking Raj Didi how she could allow this to happen to Ishani.
Shashwat tells them not to interfere in his personal matters. Raj Didi responds that she has never interfered in others’ personal matters, so they should not interfere in her family matters either. Pihu claims that Ishani must have gone to the neighbors for sympathy, but Ishani insists she did not call anyone. Shashwat sarcastically replies that he can see that and adds that the neighbors would have opened the door if Ishani had knocked calmly. He calls the scene unnecessary. Ishani states that it is better to live in hell than in the Sengupta house and explains that she endured so much pain that she decided to leave. The neighbor affirms that she has the right to stay in the house and tells Shashwat that wealth does not give him the right to treat Ishani this way. Shashwat complains that they are exaggerating the matter.
Pihu accuses Ishani of being characterless and having an affair with someone she loves, claiming that Shashwat acted correctly. The neighbor counters that even if that were true, Shashwat cannot slap Ishani, and the mark on her cheek is enough evidence to file a domestic violence case. Shashwat says he punished Ishani because she did wrong. Nandini adds that teaching Ishani a lesson was necessary.
Precap: Anurag asks Ishani to stay there if she trusts him and tells her to continue her studies.
