Jhanak tells the police inspector that her husband, Rishi, is an honest officer and would never try to harm his wife. Aditi questions her, but Jhanak asserts that she is speaking the truth and asks Aditi not to interfere while she is talking. The police inspector mentions he heard that Rishi’s family is sending Jhanak to her village. Jhanak clarifies that the information is wrong and that she is going to her village only to give her exams.

When asked about the accident, Jhanak explains that she was inexperienced with traffic and met with the accident. She says she is grateful it happened due to Rishi’s car because he admitted her to the hospital and cared for her as a husband. Aditi reacts angrily, but Rishi tells her he doesn’t know what to say. Aditi then informs the inspector that she is going to marry Rishi and reminds him that Jhanak’s old statement declared the marriage invalid. Jhanak clarifies that she was forced to marry Rishi at first, but she has now accepted him as her husband and requests the inspector not to blame Rishi. The inspector says everything is clear and tells Rishi to resume work from tomorrow.
Later, Jhanak recalls her mother Nutan and cries. She writes a letter, leaves it on the table, and quietly departs from Rishi’s house, feeling she has no other choice.
Meanwhile, Aditi reflects on Jhanak’s words and wonders why Rishi kept her in the dark. Arshi asks why Aditi has not eaten, and Aniruddh inquires about the matter. Arshi questions how Jhanak can stay in Rishi’s house forever and decides to speak to him. Aditi tells her not to intervene because that is what Rishi wants. Arshi insists Aniruddh take action and questions Aditi about marrying Rishi. She calls Rishi, but there is no response. Frustrated, Arshi threatens to cancel the wedding and leaves.
The next day, Dadabhai asks Rishi who is causing problems for him. Rishi explains that a senior officer is creating issues. Putul informs them that Jhanak is missing and has been searched everywhere. Tanushri says Jhanak cannot face them after what she said at the police station. Dadabhai defends Jhanak, asking if she did wrong by protecting Rishi’s job. Rishi tells Tanushri that Jhanak spoke to save his job, and through this, he has become part of her life.
