Rishi tells his family that he has become part of Jhanak’s life. He asks them to imagine what the villagers will do if they see Jhanak alone. Dadabhai replies that the law is equal for both them and the villagers. Putul gives Jhanak’s letter to Rishi, and he reads it. Indumati says they will face trouble if something happens to Jhanak. Putul questions how Indumati can speak like that. Tanushri criticizes Putul, saying she left her own husband due to hurt and is now increasing Rishi’s problems instead of solving her own. Putul responds that she understands Jhanak’s pain. Rishi stops their argument and says maybe Jhanak went to Aditi’s house. He asks Payal to call Aditi.

Payal informs Aditi that Jhanak has left the house. Aditi dismisses it as another drama and assumes Jhanak is trying to gain sympathy. She says she will come there with Aniruddh and ends the call. Meanwhile, Rishi calls Jhanak and asks her location. Jhanak tells him she has boarded the bus and is going to Simulboni. When Rishi confirms she is still at the bus stand, he disconnects and rushes out. Putul says she is proud of Rishi because he knows right from wrong.
On the way, Rishi wonders why he feels restless and why Jhanak is coming between him and Aditi when everything was fine before. He realizes he cannot let Jhanak leave because she saved both his job and his life. He calls Jhanak again and tells her the bus has already left the stand. He asks her to wait for him at a roadside dhaba where the bus will stop. Jhanak asks him not to drive fast and tells him to say whatever he wants now, but Rishi insists she wait for him there.
Meanwhile, Aditi arrives at Rishi’s house and asks about him. Indumati reveals that Rishi left after reading Jhanak’s letter. Aniruddh says Rishi should not have gone after Jhanak. Aditi accuses Jhanak of manipulating Rishi and reminds everyone of what Jhanak said to the police inspector. Tanushri admits they are relieved that Jhanak left and claims Rishi only went to ensure she remains safe.
Dadabhai points out that Aditi is hurt because Jhanak called herself Rishi’s wife in front of the inspector. He reminds Aditi that she did not tell Aniruddh the full truth about the police questioning. Aniruddh asks if Jhanak is truly Rishi’s wife. Dadabhai replies that no one discusses that openly in their house. He emphasizes that Jhanak saved Rishi multiple times, and instead of gratitude, she is being blamed. He adds that Rishi would have gone to jail if Jhanak had not defended him and questions why she would leave if her intentions were wrong.
Jhanak tells Rishi that she will wait at the dhaba until the bus stops there.
