At the police station, Krishnendu manipulates the IG and other officers, claiming Rishi caused Jhanak’s accident deliberately and is misusing his power. The other officers argue that Rishi was forced into marriage, but Krishnendu insists that the marriage is still valid and Jhanak, being innocent, could be taken advantage of. He predicts the villagers won’t accept her if sent back. The IG, upset that the investigation was halted, orders his team to interrogate Jhanak and Rishi separately. Krishnendu thanks the IG while hiding his smirk.
At Rishi’s house, Aditi tells his family she will marry Rishi only after Jhanak leaves the house. She questions whether Nutan’s last rites will be conducted there. Dadabhai clarifies that Nutan’s last rites will take place in the village and informs her that Rishi has taken responsibility for Jhanak’s studies, arranging for her to stay in a hostel. Aditi insists her father, Aniruddh, will help financially but she does not want Jhanak in their house.
Rishi questions Aditi about her arrival, angering her. She challenges him for taking responsibility for Jhanak. Rishi defends his choice, saying he cannot live with guilt. Jhanak arrives and firmly declares she does not need anyone’s help and will return to her village. Putul reminds Rishi about his promise to take Jhanak there. Aditi scolds Rishi, while family members try to calm her. Jhanak stands her ground, insisting she has the right to speak for herself if others are making decisions without her consent.
The police arrive to interrogate Rishi regarding Jhanak’s accident. They question his motives. Aditi blames Jhanak and her villagers, accusing Jhanak of manipulating the situation to stay connected to Rishi. The officer questions Jhanak, who defends Rishi, asking why he would harm his own wife. Aditi is furious at Jhanak’s words, and the others are shocked.
