Gayatri tells Arjun that tomorrow is her son UV’s birthday and Katha has invited her, so she intends to go. Arjun is shocked but insists on accompanying her to the party. The next day, Naina visits the kitchen where Katha is preparing tea for UV. Naina teases Katha about why UV started having tea instead of his favorite coffee. Katha explains that sometimes he drinks tea. They discuss Katha wearing a yellow saree, which she doesn’t like, but chooses because it is UV’s favorite color. Naina teases her about how to wish UV, and Katha insists she wants to express her feelings genuinely, just like UV always speaks from the heart. Katha wonders who it might be and reflects that UV is about to receive the best surprise of his life—meeting his mother. UV calls Arjun, who tells him Gayatri is busy in a meeting. UV goes to Arjun’s place and is shocked to see Gayatri giving a media interview, forced by Arjun, claiming she chose her career over her family. UV’s world crumbles as he hears her words and questions her, but Gayatri does not recognize him. Arjun smirks at the situation.
