The episode begins with Rishi telling Jhanak to change her clothes before they reach his home. Later, he arrives with her and warns her not to create any drama. Everyone is happy to see him. Tanushree hugs Rishi and asks how he is. He says he’s fine. They all notice Jhanak, and Rishi informs them that she will stay with them from today. Shurjeet asks who she is.
Rishi instructs Jhanak to introduce herself. She explains that she needed work, so she came with Rishi. She adds that his family might need a maid and that she can handle all chores, including taking care of cattle. Tanushree questions why Rishi suddenly brought a maid. Indumati wonders if Jhanak can actually work, to which Rishi replies she came forcefully.
Badam asks about her bag. Jhanak says it contains clothes. Dadabhai likes her name and asks Rishi if he checked her background. Rishi nods. Dadabhai inquires if her family is okay with this, and Jhanak explains that her mother sent her to earn for them. She narrates a movie-like story and begs them to let her work. Dadabhai jokes that Rishi brought a filmy maid.
Shurjeet asks if Jhanak can live without her parents. She recalls Nutan telling her to achieve her dreams and declares she won’t leave until they throw her out. Rishi says he’s tired and hungry and goes inside. Indumati tells Jhanak there’s a difference between village and city work. Jhanak promises she’ll learn fast if taught with love. Payal remarks that Jhanak speaks well and they needed a full-time maid anyway. Tanushree notes she is unmarried and young, and Jhanak reassures her. At Indumati’s instruction, Putul takes Jhanak inside, while Kaju and Badam tease her about her bag having sweets. Jhanak spins a story to entertain them.
Meanwhile, in the village, Sakhi urges Nutan to eat. Nutan worries about Jhanak. Sakhi reassures her that Parashar might have found her. Nutan wonders if Rishi will keep Jhanak happy. Dhamu, Mangal, and Veer arrive. Nutan asks where Jhanak is, and Mangal mentions that Parashar met Rishi and may have his contact. Nutan inquires when Parashar will return, while Sakhi wonders if Rishi accepted Jhanak as his wife.
Elsewhere, Aditi gets ready early for her 4 pm meeting with Rishi. Bablu teases her for getting ready at 2 pm. Arshi asks her to postpone as she needs the car, but Aditi insists she’ll book a cab. Arshi complains that Aditi is as stubborn as Aniruddh.
Rishi calls Aditi, saying he can’t wait to see her. Aditi admits she’s yearning too. Rishi tells her she has no idea how he feels and disconnects. Jhanak overhears and asks if he was talking to Aditi. Rishi warns her not to interfere in his personal matters, and Jhanak quietly leaves.
Meanwhile, Ishani reaches her home. Ambika hugs her and asks what happened. Ishani says she won’t return to Shashwat’s house. Ambika asks if they fought and reminds her that a married woman should adjust. Ishani explains that she tried, but Jeet returned and everyone believed his lies. She pleads with Ambika not to treat her badly and cries, saying she can’t take it anymore before hugging her mother.
