Ritesh sees Indu from outside the doctor’s room. Rahul arrives and asks him what he is looking at and why he is smiling. Ritesh tells him that he saw the same girl he met in the rain, the one whose earring he still has. When he looks again, Indu has already left. Rahul tells him to stop daydreaming and drags him to the doctor. They get into an argument while walking.
Vivek goes to Indu and gives her the hospital bills. Indu asks why he paid the bills with his own money when she had already given him her card.
Mahesh jokes and decides to go buy the items needed for the baby’s vaccination. Indu says she will go instead because she does not want to trouble Vivek further. She asks him to wait near the baby until she returns and leaves.
At home, Sunita asks Rajendra why the baby was taken to the hospital for vaccination when it is not Indu’s responsibility. Rajendra tells her that as a mother she knows the importance of vaccinations and reminds her how she created a scene when Anjali was a baby.
Sunita says she is worried about Indu’s future. She does not want the baby to become an obstacle in Indu’s marriage. She tells Rajendra to advise Indu or else she will go live with Prashant and Asha in Canada. The doorbell rings and Sunita opens it. She is shocked to see Mahesh. He angrily asks where Indu is. Sunita and Rajendra look worried.
Ritesh convinces Rahul and goes to search for Indu. He checks the doctor’s room but realises she is not there. He then searches around the hospital.
Vivek receives a call from Sunita. She tells him Mahesh came to the house, destroyed things in anger and asked about Indu’s whereabouts. She mistakenly told him Indu is at the hospital. She asks Vivek to bring Indu safely home. Vivek agrees and becomes worried. He asks a nurse to look after the baby and goes to search for Indu.
Indu feels someone’s hand on her shoulder. She turns and is shocked to see Mahesh. The nurse receives a call and leaves. The baby starts crying.
Ritesh arrives near the baby and searches for the nurse or the parents. When he finds no one, he goes to the baby and asks her to calm down. He wonders where her mother is. He tells the baby she can stay with Ritesh uncle for now. He lifts her and realises she is crying because her diaper needs to be changed. He cleans her and changes the diaper. He says he will scold her parents for leaving her alone and asks her to be his fan. He makes a fist bump with the baby. The nurse returns and asks who he is. Ritesh quickly hides his face and leaves. Rahul appears and scolds him before taking him away.
In a store room, Mahesh accuses Indu of destroying his marriage. He tells her he tried so hard to convince Mansi and her parents but everything is ruined because of her. He takes a scissor. Indu shouts for help.
A nurse enters, drops everything she is holding and calls others for help. Mahesh drags Indu out and hits whoever tries to intervene. He stops when he sees the security team with guns. Indu uses the moment to escape. The nurse picks up the baby and searches for Indu because it is time for vaccination.
Mahesh tells everyone it is a personal matter and orders them not to interfere. The nurse brings the baby and says she is waiting for Indu. Mahesh snatches the baby, shocking everyone. He threatens to kill the baby if anyone comes near. Indu pleads with him not to harm her baby. Mahesh misunderstands and accuses her of having a child behind his back and contacting him only to make him the father. He runs away and locks the exit.
Vivek reaches Indu and learns everything. He tries to calm her down, saying police are on the way.
The doctor treats Ritesh’s hand. A security officer informs them what happened and asks them to stay inside. Rahul says they cannot wait because the shoot has already stopped. The guard agrees to take them through the emergency door.
Ritesh sees Mahesh holding the baby and attacking people. He follows him and begs him not to harm the baby. Mahesh accuses Ritesh of having an affair with Indu. Indu and others reach the spot.
Ritesh pleads with Mahesh not to harm the baby because of her mother’s mistake. He tells him they can talk like adults and he will even speak to Mansi. Indu arrives there. Mahesh sees her and drops the baby. Ritesh catches the baby just in time. Vivek tells Indu her baby is safe. The police arrive. Ritesh and Mahesh fight. The police arrest Mahesh. Rahul comes there and asks Ritesh what happened. Ritesh smiles at the baby and kisses her forehead.
Precap: Indu tells the doctor she wants to meet the person who saved her baby. She also gives a box of kheer to pass on to him. The doctor informs Ritesh but he refuses to meet Indu and calls her careless and irresponsible. Later Indu tells Sunita she has decided to keep the baby with her. Sunita says she is also a mother and she will not allow Indu’s life to be ruined because of someone else’s abandoned child. Indu looks shocked.
