Ritesh handed the baby to the nurse. Rahul tells him that he already has many fans, but once people learn about his heroic act, his popularity will rise even more. He insists they leave before the place becomes crowded. Ritesh walks out with Rahul, unaware that Indu is running towards the baby. Indu takes the baby in her arms. Mahesh threatens Indu, saying he will not spare her and will destroy her life. Vivek slaps him and instructs the police to take him to the station.
The police take Mahesh away. Indu asks the nurse if she knows who saved the baby, but the nurse says she failed to see the person. Meanwhile Rahul scolds Ritesh for getting into a fight with Mahesh in a public hospital, warning that the media may ruin his image. Ritesh apologises and says he never expected Mahesh to stoop so low as to try to kill an innocent baby. He adds that he felt an instant connection with the baby the moment she held his finger.
Rahul tells Ritesh they should be grateful to the hospital because by hiding the incident to protect their reputation, they also saved Ritesh from getting into trouble. He then notices Ritesh’s shoulder injury and scolds him for not mentioning it. He decides to take him for treatment.
Indu returns home and tells her father that she never thought Mahesh would go to this extent, but she feels bad that she could not thank the stranger who saved her baby. Sunita gets angry hearing Indu refer to the baby as hers. She says the baby is bringing trouble into their lives, and maybe the baby has a bad fate since even her own mother abandoned her. Everyone is shocked. Rajender scolds Sunita for speaking like this despite having two daughters of her own.
Sunita defends herself saying she is not against the baby, but she will always think of Indu first. Rajender says the baby is a blessing and must have a bright fate since they managed to send Mahesh to prison. He advises Indu to find the baby’s saviour and thank him. Indu agrees but worries she does not know how to find him. Vivek suggests talking to the hospital management. Indu likes the idea but hesitates to leave the baby. Rajender assures her he will take care of the baby until she returns. At the hospital the doctor praises Ritesh’s bravery and calls him a real-life hero, but Ritesh denies it.
Rahul jokes that the doctor should not praise Ritesh too much or he will do more stunts and land himself in trouble. He asks the doctor to finish the treatment quickly because they have a shoot in Switzerland next week. Indu meets the receptionist and later tells Vivek that the saviour is a patient of Dr Sen, so they can get information from him. She adds that the saviour has no idea what his help means to her. Vivek jokes that maybe the superhero is none other than Superstar Ritesh Malhotra. Indu laughs and says Ritesh helped her once, but she does not think he will always be the one saving her.
The doctor finishes treating Ritesh. A nurse informs him someone is waiting in his cabin. Vivek introduces himself and Indu to the doctor and says they want to meet the stranger who saved Indu’s baby. Indu emotionally expresses how important it is for her to thank him. The doctor says he understands but he cannot disclose the patient’s identity. Indu requests him to at least convey her gratitude. She gives a box of kheer for the saviour and leaves.
Ritesh enters the cabin just after Indu leaves. The doctor gives him the kheer from the baby’s mother. Ritesh places it on the table and says he has no interest in meeting a mother who is irresponsible. He explains that he saw the baby in the children’s ward unattended and spent ten to fifteen minutes with her, even changing her diaper, yet the mother never appeared. He questions why people have children if they cannot take care of them. He says he knows how it feels to grow up without parental love.
The doctor is surprised to learn Ritesh lost his father. Ritesh refuses to speak about his mother. He asks the doctor to tell the baby’s mother to invest her time in caring for her child instead of making kheer. He leaves.
Indu tells Vivek her whole life is not enough to thank the man who saved her baby. Vivek says the stranger will understand her feelings after having the kheer. He asks Indu when she is going to tell her family about keeping the baby. Indu says she will tell them today. Later Sunita insists she will not let the baby ruin Indu’s future and suggests sending her to an orphanage. She scolds Indu for acting like a mother when she does not know how to care for a baby.
Indu pleads with her mother to listen. She says the baby is meant to be hers, and though she does not know everything about childcare, she can learn with her family’s support. She says it is God’s plan that the baby came into her life, and the baby is pulling her out of the darkness Mahesh left her in. She acknowledges society will question her for raising a baby without marriage, but with her family beside her, she can face everything. She begs Sunita to accept her decision.
Sunita approaches the baby and says that the baby smiles whenever the light falls on her. Indu comes forward and reveals that the baby’s name is Zoon. She says Zoon is her everything. Sunita and the family become emotional.
Precap: After five years, Indu gets ready and says she is now an RTO officer. She tells viewers they will now meet her daughter Zoon, who is her joy and her world. Zoon plays a game and says if her father were with her, he would help her twirl. Indu lovingly spins her. While packing Zoon’s bag, she notices a Ritesh sticker and says he has no idea that because of him, she is where she is today, and she will be forever grateful.
