Turning to Ishani, Yash asks why she failed to warn Pihu if she already knew about Jeet. Ishani firmly states that she had warned everyone and makes it clear that she does not wish to revisit her past. She also asks Yash not to bring it up again.
Raj Didi remarks that Ishani’s behavior has changed after spending two days at her mother’s house. Shashwat urges Ishani to remain calm, explaining that he wants peace in the household. However, Pihu argues that it is unfair for one person alone to suffer in the name of family harmony. Yash sarcastically comments that Pihu has become Ishani’s spokesperson. Pihu counters by asking whether Yash would tolerate such treatment if Ankita were in Ishani’s place.
Annoyed, Yash accuses Pihu of being unreasonable and refuses to continue the discussion. He then informs his father that Ankita’s birthday is the next day and suggests hosting a small celebration at home before organizing a grand party at a hotel. Raj Didi agrees to celebrate at home. When Pihu asks who will do the cooking, Raj Didi casually responds that the daughter-in-law handles such responsibilities. Pihu questions why Ishani alone should manage household chores and sarcastically suggests celebrating at a five-star hotel instead. Ishani intervenes and asks Pihu to stop. She acknowledges Pihu’s support, calling her just like her father, and accepts that cooking is her responsibility.
The next day, Shashwat warmly welcomes Ankita’s parents and introduces Raj Didi to them. He discusses Ankita and Yash’s marriage plans. Ankita’s father advises Shashwat to consult the priest. Meanwhile, Ankita’s mother asks about Shashwat’s wife. Ankita tells her that Shashwat’s first wife passed away a few years ago. Pihu corrects her by revealing that Shashwat remarried and that his second wife is Ishani, adding that Ishani is preparing the food and sweets. Raj Didi proudly praises Ishani’s cooking, claiming it surpasses restaurant standards.
Shashwat agrees, and Ankita’s father compliments homemade food. However, Ankita openly criticizes Ishani’s cooking, stating that she dislikes it because Ishani does not wear gloves. Raj Didi stresses the importance of hygiene, but Pihu points out that Raj Didi herself never uses gloves while cooking. Observing this, Ankita’s mother comments that Pihu seems extremely devoted to Ishani.
When Ishani arrives with juice, Ankita’s mother mistakes her for a maid and compliments her work. Pihu immediately introduces Ishani as Shashwat’s wife and questions why she was assumed to be household help. Ankita’s mother switches to English, and Ishani confidently responds in English as well. To change the mood, Ankita suggests cutting the cake. Shashwat invites Ankita’s parents to attend the pooja the following day, and Raj Didi instructs Ishani to cook again. Ishani quietly agrees.
As everyone gathers for the cake-cutting ceremony, Pihu advises Ishani to learn how to stand up for herself. Ishani gently replies that protest is not always necessary.
