Sundar introduces himself to Rishi’s family, claiming he is an all-rounder. Abhimanyu asks him to make tea, but Phool firmly objects, saying Sundar cannot enter the kitchen and that she will prepare the tea instead. Indumati tells Phool to allow Sundar to do it, as they want to see his work. Phool remains adamant and refuses to let him enter the kitchen. Offended, Sundar demands that Phool be fired, insisting he can manage all the work alone.
Things escalate when Phool loses her temper and starts hitting Sundar. Rishi’s family intervenes and saves him. Sundar declares that he no longer wants the job, but Abhimanyu stops him from leaving. Dadabhai asks Tanushri to show the kitchen to Sundar and instructs Sundar to make tea for him as well. He strictly tells Phool to stay away from the kitchen and focus only on her studies, not household work. Hurt, Phool walks away.
After some time, Dadabhai asks Sundar to bring his bag. Putul informs Indumati that Phool is sitting silently in her room. Soon, Phool appears with her luggage and announces that she has decided to leave. She asks Dadabhai to drop her at the bus stand. Tanushri wonders if Phool is upset because they hired Sundar, but Phool denies it.
Dadabhai assumes Phool is making excuses to avoid studying and tells her to go back to her village. He hands money to Putul and asks her to buy a snuffbox and cigarettes. Putul agrees, which shocks Phool, who questions how she could do that. Tanushri remarks that Dadabhai listens only to Phool and gently takes the luggage from her hands.
When Sundar returns with a bag, Dadabhai asks who will accompany him to the market. Sundar volunteers, leading to another argument between him and Phool. Dadabhai scolds Sundar and emotionally declares that they will see his dead body if Phool ever talks about leaving the house again. Alarmed, Phool asks him not to say such things. Dadabhai hugs her tightly, but Phool insists that one day she will have to leave. Dadabhai firmly replies that such a day will never come.
The next day, Dadabhai tells Indumati that Neelu will come only on the wedding day since Varun did not get leave. He also reveals that he visited Putul’s in-laws to give Rishi’s wedding invitation. Abhimanyu asks whether Dadabhai considered how Putul would react. Indumati asks if Putul’s in-laws treated him well. Dadabhai says Shantanu was not home but claims the family always behaves well. Tanushri comments that it is just an act, which is why they never stopped Shantanu. Dadabhai ends the discussion.
Later, Abhimanyu asks Phool to make rangoli. Phool, hiding her fever, agrees despite Indumati telling her not to do it if she does not want to. While making the rangoli, Rishi notices her and angrily tells her to stop. He warns her to stay away from all wedding preparations. Phool assures him that he will not face any trouble because of her and quietly walks inside. Alone, Phool breaks down, and Tanushri consoles her.
Meanwhile, Aditi arrives to perform a ritual. Arshi compliments her. Suddenly, Aditi receives a call from an unknown number. On the other end, Krishnand introduces himself, saying she may not know him, but he knows her well.
