Sachin brings Ranjit home and introduces him to the family as his former classmate. However, Tejas immediately feels uneasy, as he cannot recall ever seeing Ranjit during their school days. Trying to keep the lie intact, Sachin covers up nervously while Ranjit distracts everyone with his overly friendly and talkative nature. To make things seem convincing, Sachin asks Ranjit to scold him for his drinking habits. Playing along smoothly, Ranjit pretends to be a strict yet caring friend who wants Sachin to reform.
Soon, Renuka and Paresh join the interaction. While Renuka also admits that Ranjit looks unfamiliar, Paresh welcomes him warmly. During the conversation, Ranjit casually thanks the family for allowing Akash to lend him a bike. This small remark immediately alerts Sayali, who quietly begins connecting past incidents and grows more suspicious of Ranjit’s intentions.
Sachin invites Ranjit to stay back for dinner, but Ranjit politely declines. Renuka appears secretly relieved by his refusal. Unknown to everyone, Ranjit is already plotting his escape. He plans to flee to Dubai with the stolen money, fully aware that Sachin will be the easiest person to blame once he disappears.
After Ranjit leaves, Sachin and Riya discuss his behaviour. Both feel that Ranjit was trying too hard to impress the family. Tejas, still confused, struggles to place Ranjit in his memories. Meanwhile, Roshni recalls the mysterious letter she received and shares her concerns with Tejas, increasing their doubts. Ever the opportunist, Tejas even considers offering Ranjit a loan on interest as a new business idea.
Later, Sachin feels relieved seeing the tension between him and Sayali easing. He thanks Ranjit for helping improve the atmosphere at home and apologises to Sayali for failing to understand her perspective earlier. Sayali also admits that neither of them truly tried to see the other’s point of view. To symbolise a fresh beginning, Sayali brings halwa, and the couple lovingly feed each other, sharing a warm moment.
When asked about Ranjit, Sayali says he seems kind and pleasant. However, the moment Sachin steps away, Sayali secretly checks his phone, determined to uncover any hidden truth.
The following day, Sayali discreetly follows Ranjit on her scooter, determined to dig deeper. Ranjit, however, notices her tailing him and stays one step ahead. When he confronts her, Sayali cleverly covers up by saying she came to deliver his lunch. Ranjit pretends to be touched by her concern, thanking her warmly, while secretly continuing to hide his true motives.
