Katha informs UV that although she helped secure his release, she will not allow his café to reopen on college grounds. UV becomes furious, warning her to remain silent. Katha stands her ground, explaining that the café causes problems by operating within the campus. UV mocks his cousins and attempts to argue, but the inspector intervenes. His friends apologize and persuade him to leave. Before walking off, UV threatens Katha, leaving her shocked.
At the Jindal house, UV’s cousins accompany him, but Eshwar blocks his entry. Rukhmani questions his actions. A servant hands Eshwar an aarti plate, which he performs for UV, subtly mocking Sheetal, UV’s mother. Rukhmani scolds Eshwar for his behavior. UV reminds him of his promise and finally enters the house. His cousins recount his time in jail and the café being shut down, which leaves Rukhmani heartbroken. Eshwar, hiding his emotions, criticizes UV’s reckless attitude.
Meanwhile, Mohan grows anxious waiting for Katha. When she returns, she lies to him, but he senses the truth. Katha convinces him to trust her and heads inside.
Mangla arrives at Mohan’s house with others, furious over the college incident. She humiliates Katha, accusing her of bringing shame to the family. Katha remains silent. Naina defends her, questioning why Mangla never praised Katha for topping her classes. Mangla snaps at Naina, labeling both sisters as troublemakers. Vandana warns Mangla, but she leaves after taunting them.
Later, Mohan and Vandana question Katha, but Naina steps in, vouching for her sister’s innocence. She urges them not to pressure Katha, reminding them that she shares her deepest thoughts only with her diary.
Back at the Jindal house, UV’s cousins attempt to bake a cake for him but end up creating a mess in the kitchen. Rukhmani joins them while Ambika quietly slips away. UV asks Mr. Agarwal to arrange a meeting with the college board. Later, he becomes emotional when his detective informs him that Sheetal, his mother, is living in an old-age home. Though he wants to visit immediately, the detective advises patience, and UV agrees, holding onto hope for a reunion.
Precap: Rukhmani suggests finding a bride for UV, but Eshwar insists no family will agree. At the temple, both are impressed by Katha. Later, UV declares that he will only marry the girl chosen by his mother.
