UV scolds his cousins and friends for involving Katha in securing his release from jail. Despite his anger, they stop him from leaving and surprise him with a cake. Touched by their gesture, UV dances with them and admits he’s staying in the house because of their support—not Eshwar, who constantly taunts them. He shares that he has located his mother, Sheetal, and plans to bring her home the next day. UV dreams of seeing her sit on the chair he crafted especially for her.
Meanwhile, Katha writes in her diary about UV and resolves to become financially independent to help her uncle Mohan repay his debts. Mohan arrives and asks her to prepare medicine for Navin’s sick daughter. Katha agrees.
UV visits Navin’s house to check on the child. Navin apologizes for missing work, and UV advises him to prioritize his daughter’s care. Sushila brings the children out, and UV offers the little girl a doughnut. Katha arrives and scolds him, blaming him for worsening the child’s condition. UV is stunned, and they argue. Katha insists that the girl will only take her medicine, while UV tosses the medicine aside and encourages the children to eat the doughnut, mocking her as he leaves. Later, Navin suggests that Katha consider collaborating with UV, but she is taken aback and refuses.
UV then visits an old-age home, hoping to meet Sheetal. A detective brings a woman to him who offers food, but UV realizes she is not his mother. Despite this, he gives her chocolate, and she smiles, with other residents watching warmly.
Later, Katha bumps into UV, and he catches her from falling. Suddenly, the old woman faints. Katha blames UV’s chocolates, but the others clarify that she hadn’t eaten them. Katha is left speechless. UV mocks her again. The woman wakes up, scolding them for arguing and teasing them about being a pair, leaving both UV and Katha shocked.
Precap: Rukhmani shares a marriage suggestion with Eshwar, who criticizes UV. At the temple, both are impressed by Katha’s gesture. Later, UV declares he will marry only the woman chosen by his mother, Sheetal, leaving Eshwar furious.
