At the Jindal house, UV proudly shows everyone a picture of Eshwar eating sweets from a stall outside. Just then, Eshwar enters in a cheerful mood and teasingly sings to him. Rukhmani confronts him about the sweets. Shocked, Eshwar denies it, but the family reveals the photo. Annoyed, Rukhmani declares he will now eat only khichdi. Thinking about Katha’s khichdi, Eshwar happily agrees, leaving everyone puzzled. He then instructs UV to meet him in his room.
Rukhmani suspects Eshwar wants to discuss UV’s marriage. UV complains that his father is determined to ruin his life, but Rukhmani and his cousins advise him to at least listen. Eshwar calls for UV, while Ambika, irritated that decisions are being made without her approval, decides she must intervene.
Meanwhile, at Katha’s home, Mohan returns and asks Vandana where Katha is. Vandana says she is preparing something for him. Katha is shown making a plant-based juice for Mohan, worried about his health. Mohan then tells Vandana about Eshwar’s proposal. Vandana is thrilled but admits Katha hates men and may refuse, though she urges him to speak with her.
Katha overhears everything and is stunned. She believes only her uncle can be trusted, yet she recalls how much Eshwar has supported Mohan, and how much Mohan respects him. Conflicted, she doesn’t know how to react. Mohan requests Vandana to help convince her.
Katha enters as if she heard nothing and offers Mohan the juice. He reassures her that he won’t pressure her into anything. They share an emotional hug. After they leave, Katha firmly decides she will refuse the proposal.
At the Jindal house, UV meets Eshwar, who hands him the café keys and tells him he may reopen it—only if he agrees to one important condition. Shocked, UV listens as Eshwar drives away his cousins who are trying to overhear. Eshwar then tells UV that he must get married first, leaving him speechless.
Precap:
Katha and UV give their consent for the marriage. Mohan prepares to tell Katha who the groom actually is.
