Katha pours her heart into her diary, writing about Mohan, who gave her a safe and loving life. She notes how his health has declined ever since Naina’s marriage, though Eshwar has constantly supported their family. Realising that her refusal may deepen Mohan’s pain, she decides to agree to marriage for his happiness. She reminds herself that this choice doesn’t make her weak. Thinking of how Mohan cared for her after her mother’s death, Katha breaks down emotionally.
At the Jindal house, Eshwar discusses the ongoing issues in the company with Harshvardan, explaining that some people want to buy Jindal Pharmacy at a cheap rate. UV walks in, calls Eshwar “HOF,” and shocks the entire family by agreeing to Eshwar’s marriage deal in order to reopen his café. Eshwar is relieved.
UV warns him that though Eshwar may have won today, he will not win again. Eshwar insists he only wants to guide him onto the right path. UV accuses him of manipulating him emotionally through his mother. Eshwar calmly replies that in any other situation he might have reacted differently but is glad UV agreed.
Harshvardan then asks about the marriage plans. Ambika pushes Vinith to ask who the bride is, but UV cuts in, declaring that he doesn’t care whom he is marrying—he only wants his mother’s café back. Everyone is stunned. Rukhmani and his cousins try to convince him, but UV says he will do anything to get the café reopened. Rukhmani scolds him as he leaves.
Eshwar stays confident that UV will eventually fall in love. Rukhmani criticizes him for ignoring the girl’s feelings and says that modern couples meet before marrying. Eshwar counters that if he and Rukhmani had met before their wedding, they might not be together. He then tells the family to prepare for UV’s wedding before he changes his mind.
Meanwhile, Katha meets Vandana and learns that Mohan is still unwell. She asks whether her marriage is causing him stress. Vandana is shocked that Katha overheard their discussion but assures her they will not force her into anything and will find another solution. Katha calmly replies that marriage is the solution for Mohan’s peace of mind. Vandana gets emotional and hugs her.
Naina overhears them and finally understands why both Katha and Mohan have been tense lately.
Later, Naina advises Katha not to marry for someone else’s sake, but Katha says Mohan has given her everything since childhood, so she will marry the groom chosen for her. Elsewhere, Mohan considers telling Katha who the groom really is.
