Mohan debates whether he should finally reveal the groom’s identity to Katha. When Katha arrives, she calmly tells him that because Eshwar supported their family during Naina’s wedding, she cannot refuse his proposal. She agrees to the marriage, leaving Mohan troubled. He questions why she keeps sacrificing her happiness, but Katha insists her decision is nothing compared to everything he and Naina have done for her.
Feeling guilty, Naina silently blames herself. Mohan believes forcing Katha into a marriage is unfair, but Katha refuses to know anything about the groom and distances herself from everyone. Vandana tries to convince her to reconsider, but Katha remains unmoved.
Later, Mohan informs Eshwar that Katha has agreed to the alliance, leaving Eshwar delighted.
The next morning, Katha prepares to leave for college. Vandana asks her not to go alone now that the marriage has been fixed, and also encourages her to start selecting bridal clothes. Katha firmly refuses, saying she wants no part in the preparations. Naina arrives and insists on accompanying her, while Mohan attempts to speak to Katha, only for her to ignore him again.
Determined to tell her the truth, Mohan decides he can no longer keep the groom’s identity hidden. Vandana notices his distress and speaks to him privately about their helplessness in Katha’s decision. Mohan confesses that Katha is slowly drifting away from him. Overhearing them, Katha tells Vandana to take him inside to rest. Though Vandana tries to comfort Katha, she finally breaks down, and Mohan consoles her.
At the Jindal mansion, Eshwar summons Rukmini and Nathu Lal, asking Nathu Lal to gather all the elders. Rukmini, sensing his excitement, questions him, and Eshwar joyfully reveals that UV’s bride has accepted the proposal—but he refuses to disclose her name.
When the family gathers, Eshwar informs Harshvardan that UV will be getting married soon. Harshvardan reminds him of UV’s previous failed marriage despite choosing the girl himself, but Eshwar confidently assures that this time everything will be different.
He assigns wedding duties to his sons and daughters-in-law but still keeps the bride’s identity a secret. Ambika becomes irritated, and Vinith warns her to be careful, especially after Eshwar reveals he has begun inviting relatives for the wedding.
After everyone leaves, Rukmini confronts Eshwar about hiding things from her. He finally reveals that he has chosen Katha for UV, which makes Rukmini happy. However, she worries because Katha and UV are poles apart. Eshwar reassures her that Katha will transform UV, reminding her that Katha helped get UV released from prison and is responsible for UV’s café being shut down. Rukmini is stunned.
Just then, UV enters and confronts Eshwar for dragging Katha’s name into the matter. Eshwar is left speechless.

Katha speaks emotionally to her mother’s photo. Mohan, determined to finally tell her the truth, hides UV’s photo inside her book. The picture slips out and lands on a plant pot. When Katha picks it up, she is shocked by what she sees.
