UV confronts Eshwar about the name he mentioned, but Eshwar cleverly diverts the topic. UV insists he has no real interest in getting married, which Eshwar mocks. Privately, UV admits he is only agreeing to the marriage so he can reopen his café. After he leaves, Eshwar tells Rukmini that he will not reveal the bride’s identity to UV until the wedding, leaving Rukmini uneasy.
Meanwhile, UV’s cousin vows to drive the girl away once the marriage happens. But UV firmly tells them that he will only marry the girl chosen by his mother. He asks them to uncover the bride’s identity so he can persuade her to cancel the marriage himself. Pratty becomes determined to find out who she is.
At that moment, Tammy and Sandy arrive and hear about Eshwar’s condition. When Tammy learns UV is getting married, she becomes emotional and leaves abruptly. Everyone is puzzled by her reaction. Pratty asks UV if he promised Tammy marriage, which angers UV, who clarifies that Tammy is only a close friend.
Outside, Ambika spots Tammy and instantly understands her feelings for UV. Looking for an opportunity to stop the wedding, she manipulates Tammy into believing she must intervene. Tammy, overwhelmed, agrees. Later, UV and Sandy search for her. UV explains that Tammy is upset because she doesn’t want him marrying “a normal girl.” He goes after her to console her.
Elsewhere, Eshwar tells Mr. Agarwal that arranging UV’s marriage is his way of correcting UV’s irresponsible behaviour, which Mr. Agarwal finds amusing.
At college, Tammy debates whether to confess her feelings to UV. He brings her favourite ice cream to cheer her up and reassures her that the wedding won’t happen—once he learns who the girl is, he’ll convince her to back out. Tammy smiles but blames Katha for everything happening in UV’s life, vowing not to spare her.
Just then, Katha spots UV and Tammy together. Upset by their closeness, she points it out to Naina, criticizing them harshly. She shares her concerns about the choices Eshwar and Mohan are making for her life. Naina assures her that neither would ever harm her.
When Tejas calls Naina, she appears troubled. Katha notices her discomfort, but Naina brushes it off and leaves. Alone, Katha repeats to herself that she has no desire to know who the groom is.
The next morning, UV complains to Rukmini that Nathu Lal disturbed his sleep. Eshwar taunts him playfully. Soon, Kailash and Chandrika arrive, receiving blessings from everyone except Ambika, who stays busy in the kitchen. Chandrika questions Eshwar on why he suddenly decided to conduct UV’s marriage. Eshwar remains silent.
Elsewhere, Mohan confides in Vandana, worried about Katha’s studies after marriage. Vandana reassures him that Eshwar will support her dreams.

Katha pours out her emotional turmoil to her mother’s photo. Determined to tell her the truth, Mohan hides UV’s photo inside her book so she will discover the groom’s identity. When Katha finds the photo, she is stunned.
