Indu notices the waiter’s ID card and tells Vivek that he never left Mumbai—she even saw him at the RTO registering his bike. Vivek doubts it, saying the waiter claimed he went to his village because his daughter was unwell. Indu insists it was the same man. Vivek wonders how a drunk and poor waiter could afford a bike, and Indu replies that someone may have bribed him for a bigger purpose. She decides to accompany Vivek, as Zoon is emotionally attached to Ritesh and this could affect his career. Asha stays back to care for Zoon.
Meanwhile, Ritesh struggles with the humiliation of his arrest. A constable sends him inside the lockup, where two drunk thieves mock him and doubt his identity. Even when the constable confirms he is Ritesh Malhotra, they refuse to believe it. Overwhelmed by the insults and betrayal of his fans, Ritesh breaks down in anger, shocking the thieves.
At home, Sameer tells Vivaan that Ritesh deserves what happened. Vivaan questions his bitterness, reminding him that after Ritesh’s father passed away, their own father had to take responsibility. Sameer argues that his identity is overshadowed by Ritesh, and claims he will be forgotten once Ritesh is out of Bollywood. He also reveals that Ritesh’s social media following has dropped drastically.
Just then, the waiter calls Sameer, boasting about buying a new bike and asking for ₹75k more to leave by flight. Sameer refuses to give him anything. Vivaan prays the waiter won’t reveal anything. Sameer then searches for the incriminating camera footage and panics when he realizes it’s missing.
Indu and Vivek reach the waiter’s house. He opens the door, lying that he has a train in 20 minutes. Vivek questions how he’s leaving without packing. The waiter denies owning any bike. Indu slaps him and exposes his lie. Vivek hands her his phone to record the truth, shuts the door, and forces the waiter to confess.
The next morning, reporters announce that Ritesh spent the night with thieves in lockup. They highlight that his favorite food was denied, he slept on a bare floor, and only had tea and biscuits—but then news breaks that he has received bail.
When Ritesh arrives home, Kaamna rushes to hug him, while Sameer fumes silently. Dolly begins to perform aarti, but Ritesh stops her. Pankaj promises to fix everything. As Ritesh heads to his room, he pauses at his mother’s wheelchair before shutting himself inside. While working out, he replays the humiliation in his mind.
Kaamna comes to comfort him, recalling how he clung to her as a crying six-year-old after his parents’ accident. Ritesh confesses that nothing feels right anymore. He explains how people who praise him one moment humiliate him the next—someone even threw a slipper at him, and the police who once protected him locked him up with criminals. He insists he never touches drugs and even avoids doing films that promote addiction.
He blames himself for his mother’s condition and his father’s absence, saying he wants to quit the world that gives fame one minute and insults the next. Kaamna tells him that staying silent will make him look guilty and urges him to speak at the press conference. She promises to expose the real culprit. Ritesh breaks down, and she encourages him to get ready.
Meanwhile, Vivek tells Indu that no one from the Malhotra house is answering their calls. Indu admits she feels terrible for Ritesh. Vivek insists they must deliver Rajesh’s recording to him. When Zoon wakes up, Indu tells her to rest. Zoon asks whether they’ve told everyone that Ritesh is a good person. Asha suggests they go to his house, and Anjali reminds them of the press conference.
Vivek then gets an idea—Kutton Ki Duniya’s reporter can reveal the truth to everyone. Indu agrees and tells Zoon that soon the whole world will know Ritesh is innocent.
