Katha asks Naina what is troubling her, gently encouraging her to speak. Before Naina can respond, her aunt arrives and begins scolding her for running away on her wedding day, saying the family had to face humiliation because of her actions. She orders Naina to leave the house. Heartbroken, Naina prepares to go, but Katha stops her. She pleads with both Mohan and Vandana not to throw Naina out. Mohan relents only because of Katha and walks away, while Vandana scolds Naina before leaving.
At the Jindal mansion, Eshwar asks a servant to bring him kheer instead of milk. The servant refuses without Rukhmani’s permission, so Eshwar scolds him. A moment later, he sees his grandchildren rushing toward UV’s room, calling it “code red.” Annoyed, he calls Rukhmani to complain about their behavior, then walks into the kitchen demanding his kheer. Rukhmani finally allows the servant to serve it to him.
Meanwhile, UV discusses his plan with his cousins — he wants to trap Katha in a love ploy to take revenge for the humiliation he felt. He orders his cousin Pratty, who is a police officer, to gather information about Katha. Pratty initially refuses, but UV and the cousins emotionally manipulate him until he agrees.
At home, Katha writes about Naina and their bond in her diary. Naina walks in, and Katha goes to make kada for her when she sneezes. While Katha is away, Naina recalls the emotional abuse she endured from her husband Tejas. Katha returns and comforts her. She encourages Naina to share her worries with her—or at least with the plants—rather than suppress her emotions or blame her parents or neighbours.
Naina praises Katha, saying the man who marries her will be lucky. Katha becomes upset and confesses that she will never marry. She reveals the painful truth that her father betrayed her mother for another woman, which pushed her mother to take her own life. Since then, she has lost her faith in men.
Naina then reminds her that the next day is her mother’s birth anniversary. Katha goes to the temple to make the necessary arrangements. Pratty spots her and immediately informs UV, who persuades his cousins to disguise themselves as beggars. They protest at first, but eventually give in.
Katha later talks emotionally to her mother’s photo. Hearing this, Naina distracts her by asking about the temple visit. She offers to accompany her, but Katha says she will be going with Prerna. Hearing Mohan and Vandana argue, Katha reassures them that she is fine and doesn’t need this yearly drama, then leaves.
Elsewhere, Vinith expresses his concerns to Ambika, who insists he accompany her to meet Mr. Bansal for a business deal without Eshwar’s knowledge. She eventually convinces him. They then notice UV and his cousins leaving the house dressed as beggars. Ambika stops Vinith from confronting them.
Later, UV and his cousins reach the temple. His cousins begin acting like beggars. Katha arrives and is stunned to see UV involved with them.
Precap: UV disguises himself as a priest and enters Katha’s house. He predicts she will soon meet her life partner. Later, Katha discovers UV’s conspiracy and becomes furious.
