Jhanak becomes emotional after seeing Parashar’s photograph in the newspaper. Dadabhai notices her reaction and shares his concern with Tanushri and Indumati. Tanushri calls out to Jhanak, but she does not respond. Dadabhai explains that someone from Simulboni has been interviewed and featured in the newspaper, and he suspects Jhanak might know the person.
At that moment, Rishi arrives. Dadabhai asks him if he has read Parashar’s interview in the newspaper. Rishi is visibly shocked but dismisses it, saying he has no time to read newspapers. Indumati suggests that Parashar could be Jhanak’s relative, which makes Rishi uneasy.
Trying to lighten the mood, Tanushri jokingly says she will tickle Jhanak, but there is still no response. She then forcefully makes Jhanak stand and asks what exactly is written in the newspaper. Jhanak breaks down in tears. Indumati worries that they will never understand the truth if Jhanak refuses to speak. Tanushri gently asks if Jhanak is missing her home.
Lost in memories, Jhanak recalls her moments with Parashar and finally says she only misses her mother. Rishi asks her to stop crying and suddenly announces that he will take her to her village and return from there.
Later, Rishi reaches his office and enters his cabin. A fellow police officer discusses the Simulboni mission, but Rishi stops him, reminding him that the operation is confidential. The officer then informs Rishi that Krishnand had visited earlier and hesitantly mentions a disturbing rumor circulating in the office. When Rishi presses him, the officer reveals that people are saying Rishi got involved with a village girl. Furious, Rishi asks the officer to leave. Alone, Rishi reflects that he can no longer live with this guilt and considers telling the truth to Aditi.
Later, Rishi meets Aditi at a restaurant and asks why she called him there. Aditi complains that he hasn’t contacted her since morning and apologizes on Arshi’s behalf. Rishi avoids the topic, but Aditi insists he stop distancing himself. Rishi explains that their family backgrounds are different and always will be. Aditi reminds him that she argued with Arshi for his sake.
Rishi clarifies that he is not blaming Aditi, but he senses Arshi is unhappy about him becoming her son-in-law. He admits that even he is uncomfortable with Arshi being his future mother-in-law. Hurt, Aditi asks him not to treat her coldly. Rishi assures her that he won’t, and Aditi holds his hand.
The next day, Dadabhai urges the women of the house to hurry so they do not miss the auspicious time. Abhimanyu sarcastically asks why it took them four hours to get ready. Indumati retorts sharply. Dadabhai asks about Jhanak, and she soon appears. Everyone prepares to leave.
At that moment, Rishi arrives and asks why there is so much chaos. Indumati tells him to eat and go to work. Rishi then learns that Jhanak is accompanying the family to Aditi’s house. He questions why Jhanak needs to go along. Abhimanyu challenges his objection and reminds him that Aniruddh personally invited Jhanak as well.
Internally shaken, Rishi fears that Jhanak might reveal the truth to Aditi.
Precap: Aditi tells Aniruddh that Phool is searching for her father in Bhavanipur. Aniruddh begins to wonder if Phool is somehow connected to Jhanak.
