After the flag hoisting, Ritesh Malhotra proudly chants Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Indu Raina asks if he is alright, but Ritesh Malhotra brushes off her concern and insists he is only late, nothing more. He then asks Rajendra Raina and Sunita Raina if he can take Zoon Raina with him for a while, and they agree.
Inside Indu Raina’s office, Zoon Raina happily tells Ritesh Malhotra she knew he would surely come. She asks why he brought her inside her Moj’s office. Ritesh Malhotra replies that he simply wanted to spend time with her.
However, Zoon Raina notices his tear-filled eyes and gently removes his glasses. She asks if he is crying and tells him to share his worries with her so she can talk to Ganu Bhaiyya. She explains that Ganu Bhaiyya is like her brother who solves problems—some fast, some slowly, because he eats a lot of laddoos. She promises to ask him to fix Ritesh Malhotra’s troubles.
Indu Raina arrives, sends Zoon Raina outside with Vivek, and offers milk to Ritesh Malhotra. But he suddenly throws the tray, shocking her. When she tries to help, he grabs her hand. Indu Raina tells him he is clearly not fine, but Ritesh Malhotra accuses her of pretending when she came to his house to apologize. He firmly states he came only for Zoon Raina, not for her.
At Indu Raina’s home, Vivek brings prasad from Siddhivinayak. Zoon Raina is ready to eat the modak but stops, deciding to give it to Ritesh Malhotra instead because he seemed very sad.
At the hospital, Ritesh Malhotra sits beside his unconscious mother. Overcome with emotion, he tells her that after leaving behind his guilt—thanks to Zoon Raina—he finally returned to her, only for fate to take her away again. He breaks down, saying he cannot lose her, not after losing his father.
He recalls childhood memories—how she used to whisper, “Who is Maa’s favourite?” to get him out of bed for school. He tearfully asks, “Who is Rishu’s favourite now, Maa?” Rahul Raina arrives and persuades him to rest, assuring him she will recover.
Back home, Indu Raina learns that Zoon Raina wants to give the prasad to Ritesh Malhotra to cheer him up. Before letting her go, Indu Raina asks a sensitive question: “Whom do you love the most—Genie Ritesh or me?”
Zoon Raina sweetly answers that she loves Indu Raina the most and will always comfort her when she is sad. They agree to divide the prasad—half for Indu Raina, half for Ritesh Malhotra. Indu Raina hugs her tightly, calling her the center of her world.
Vivek gently points out that her fear is normal for a mother. Indu Raina admits the idea of Zoon Raina loving someone else more than her terrifies her.
They visit Ritesh Malhotra’s house, where the security officer informs them that his mother had an accident that morning and is hospitalized. Indu Raina realizes he still came to the function for Zoon Raina despite everything.
Zoon Raina needs the washroom and is taken inside by a lady security guard. Meanwhile, Kaamna Raina confronts Pankaj, demanding gratitude for saving him from Ritesh Malhotra’s anger, since Bhabhi fell due to him.
Pankaj fires back, saying the accident only happened because Kaamna Raina cancelled his trip. As they argue, they suddenly notice that Zoon Raina and the lady guard have overheard their conversation.
