Ritesh sits quietly beside Shakuntala, relieved as the doctor confirms that her condition is now stable. Thanking him sincerely, Ritesh watches as the doctor leaves. Concerned about his mother feeling cold at night, Ritesh asks the caretaker, Shanti, to bring a blanket from his room. Kaamna immediately offers to fetch it herself, but Ritesh firmly stops her and instructs Shanti to do her job instead. His cold tone stuns everyone present, leaving the room in awkward silence.
Elsewhere, Kaamna anxiously wonders whether Zoon revealed anything to anyone. Just then, she spots Indu stepping out of an auto-rickshaw. Panicking, Kaamna assumes Zoon must have told her the truth and fears Indu has come to expose everything to Ritesh. Determined to prevent this, Kaamna rushes outside, where she confronts Indu midway.
Kaamna questions Indu about her sudden visit. In response, Indu demands to know what Kaamna said to Zoon, as her daughter’s health has deteriorated rapidly. Realizing Zoon has not revealed anything yet, Kaamna relaxes and begins insulting Indu instead.
Refusing to back down, Indu warns Kaamna not to cross her limits. She insists that the doctor advised learning the truth to help Zoon recover and demands answers. Kaamna arrogantly refuses, daring Indu to do whatever she wants. Indu declares that she will not leave until she learns the truth, vowing that a mother can go to any lengths to protect her child. Furious, Kaamna threatens to file a case against Indu for trespassing and calls security when Indu refuses to move.
Hearing the commotion, Ritesh steps out, confused about whom Kaamna wants removed. Seeing Indu, he is taken aback. Kaamna quickly pretends innocence, telling Ritesh that she politely asked Indu to leave since Shakuntala has returned home, but Indu is creating a scene.
Uninterested, Ritesh turns to leave—until Indu stops him. She explains that Zoon had come to give him prasad, but afterward fell severely ill with a high fever. She insists she only wants to know what happened. Shocked, Ritesh turns to Kaamna and questions why she never told him about Zoon’s visit. Kaamna lies, claiming she forgot due to worry over Shakuntala. Ritesh sternly reminds her that he has the right to know who visits his home.
Concerned, Ritesh asks Indu about Zoon’s condition. Indu reveals there has been no improvement and adds that Zoon keeps repeating that she will not tell anyone anything, which deeply worries her. Ritesh looks sharply at Kaamna, who defensively accuses Indu of falsely blaming her. Ignoring her protests, Ritesh decides to accompany Indu home. Kaamna tries to stop him by bringing up Shakuntala’s health, but Ritesh firmly states that Rahul and the caretaker are there and leaves with Indu.
At the Raina house, Anjali tells Sunita that she has been unable to contact Indu and fears something is wrong at Ritesh’s place. Soon, Indu arrives and anxiously asks about Zoon. Sunita informs her that the fever has reduced slightly. Ritesh enters soon after and sits beside Zoon, while Indu takes the other side. He asks about her condition just as Zoon begins to feel nauseous. Indu calls out to Anjali for a bowl, but before it arrives, Zoon throws up. Without hesitation, Indu and Ritesh catch it in their hands to protect her bed, sharing an intense, emotional moment.
Meanwhile, Sameer vents to Vivaan, stating that Kaamna deserves to suffer after manipulating Ritesh for so long. He also hints at a deep connection between Kadambari and Indu, vowing to uncover the truth to advance his career.
Back at the Raina house, Zoon again mutters that she will not tell anyone anything. Indu pleads with her to explain what frightened her so much. Weakly, Zoon calls Ritesh her genie and says his mother fell down the stairs. Shocked, Ritesh asks how she knows this. Everyone looks equally stunned.
Gathering courage, Zoon reveals that Pankaj is responsible for the accident but insists she will not tell anyone. Ritesh is shaken. Vivek asks why this is affecting Zoon so deeply. Tearfully, Indu explains that when she entered the room earlier, Kaamna was threatening Zoon, after which her health collapsed. She questions how anyone could terrorize an innocent child.
Before leaving, Ritesh assures the family that they can call him anytime if they need help. At the Malhotra house, Pankaj arrogantly tells Kaamna that Ritesh will not act against him and advises her to protect herself. Suddenly, Ritesh storms in, grabs Pankaj by the collar, and demands the truth about his mother’s fall. Family members rush downstairs, trying to stop him.
Enraged, Ritesh lashes out, accusing them of lying while living under his roof. Under pressure, Pankaj finally confesses that he caused Shakuntala’s accident. Ritesh calls him a coward and then turns to Kaamna, furiously confronting her for threatening a five-year-old child. He condemns her lack of humanity, shocking everyone present.
Declaring that this is no longer the family he trusted, Ritesh walks away in anger. Deep and Dolly follow him, worried.
