Shashwat says he will one day prove that he filed a complaint against Anurag because Ishani spoke to him about it. Ishani asks how he can prove something that never happened. She says even the principal did not listen to her that day because Shashwat is a powerful man. She apologizes to everyone, saying Anurag faced humiliation despite being innocent.
After some time, Pihu tells Ishani that she is relieved Shashwat left alone. She advises Ishani not to lose this opportunity and to continue her studies. Ishani says she is sure Shashwat will not allow her to come to college again. She decides to take notes from Anurag so she can study from home.
Anurag arrives with his students. The students thank Ishani for supporting Anurag and praise her courage. Ishani says she only supported the truth. A student remarks that standing by the truth against one’s husband is not easy, and what Ishani did is commendable. Pihu apologizes to Anurag on Shashwat’s behalf. Anurag says it is fine and sends the students to the library.

Ishani asks Anurag for notes since she cannot attend college. Anurag asks whether she can at least attend the college fest. Pihu asks what Ishani can participate in. Anurag says Ishani dances well and can take part in that. Pihu asks how he knows this. Ishani explains that Anurag once asked about her hobbies, and she told him she loves singing and dancing. Pihu encourages Ishani to rehearse, but Ishani says she cannot come for rehearsals.
Anurag suggests a solo performance. Ishani asks who will sing then. Anurag says they will find someone. He tells her that he wants her to follow her passion as well. Pihu assures Anurag that she will make sure Ishani attends the fest. Ishani says she cannot fight Shashwat over everything and asks Pihu not to interfere. Pihu leaves to book a cab.
Ishani asks Anurag to take care of himself. Anurag thanks her for everything. Ishani says she only did the right thing and does not want Anurag to face problems because of her. She asks him to deal with Pihu patiently. Anurag says he cannot cut ties with Pihu because he needs to stay in touch to know about Ishani. He asks whether they have no future together. Ishani replies that her future has already ended. Anurag says Shashwat abuses her, yet she still chooses to stay with him. Ishani says she has become habituated to it. Pihu returns after booking a cab and takes Ishani with her.
Elsewhere, Shashwat tells Raj Didi that he was insulted because of Ishani. He says Ishani proved him a liar for Anurag. Nandini says she already suspected something was going on between Anurag and Ishani. Shashwat says that is not possible. Meanwhile, Ishani recalls Anurag asking whether they have any future and remembers him saying that he will always love her.
Precap: Shashwat tells Ishani that he will not spare Anurag. Ishani asks why he has such a problem with Anurag. Shashwat questions why she is so worried about Anurag.
