Ishani is making a painful sacrifice as she sells her jewellery to arrange the fees for her studies. Determined to move forward, she reaches the college and completes the admission process for her correspondence course. The staff member informs her that classes will begin the day after tomorrow. Thanking him, Ishani steps outside, only to unexpectedly come face to face with Anurag, who has just arrived.
Anurag greets her warmly, but Ishani immediately addresses him as “Sir,” reminding him that since she is now a student at the college, he is her professor. Anurag playfully responds, saying that a new student deserves a treat. When Ishani questions whether he treats all students the same way, Anurag hints that the gesture is reserved only for someone special. Uncomfortable with the implication, Ishani refuses his offer to go to a café.
At that moment, Pihu arrives and asks whether Ishani has completed her admission. After confirming this, Ishani checks on Pihu’s exam, which Pihu happily says went well. Excited, Pihu introduces herself to Anurag as his fan. Suggesting a celebration, Anurag invites them to a café. Although Ishani insists they should return home, Pihu persuades her to join them. Before leaving, Pihu excitedly takes a selfie with Anurag after seeking his permission.
At the café, Anurag orders drinks for himself and Ishani, surprising Pihu with his knowledge of Ishani’s preference. He casually explains that it was a guess, which Ishani did not object to. Anurag then praises Ishani’s determination to resume her education, to which she credits Pihu for giving her strength. Curious, Anurag asks Pihu how she knows Ishani, and Pihu reveals their relationship. As the conversation continues, Ishani becomes uneasy and insists on leaving, reminding Pihu of her responsibilities at home.
The discussion soon turns tense when Ishani speaks about the unfair expectations placed on women, leading to a brief argument. Anurag indirectly admits that he has loved only one woman, which unsettles Ishani further. When Pihu remarks that Ishani only faces humiliation at home, Anurag is left confused by her words.
Later that night, Shashwat questions Ishani about keeping the lamp on. She explains that she is using a table lamp so as not to disturb him, yet he continues to taunt her and accuses her of creating drama to avoid her duties. When Shashwat asks her to return to the bed, Ishani refuses. He makes an insensitive remark, prompting Ishani to mention rumors about him having a girlfriend. Shashwat demands to know who told her this, but Ishani calmly says there is nothing to worry about if it is untrue.
