Pihu firmly declares that Ishani will continue her education through a correspondence course. Shashwat reacts angrily, mocking the idea and demanding to know when Ishani took his permission. Raj Didi questions how a daughter-in-law can think of studying at this age. Pihu counters her argument by pointing out that her own mother studied and worked as a lecturer. This angers Shashwat, who snaps that Pihu’s mother achieved great things and cannot be compared to Ishani, who never even completed her graduation. Ishani quietly admits that this is exactly why she has never seen respect for herself in Shashwat’s eyes.
Yash joins in, asking Ishani if she has lost her senses and saying she should feel ashamed of wanting to attend college alongside girls her daughter’s age. Ishani responds calmly, stating that there is no age limit to learning. Shashwat then questions whether she even wants to stay in the house anymore, claiming she does not understand his wishes. Pihu steps in again, reminding him that Ishani is his legal wife and cannot be thrown out so easily.
Annoyed, Shashwat tells Pihu to stay out of the matter, arguing that people will ridicule him if they find out about Ishani’s decision. Pihu retorts that he would instead earn praise if he supported Ishani in completing her education. Yash dismisses the discussion as drama and sarcastically suggests that Ishani go live in a hostel if she wants to study.
The argument escalates when Ishani suggests filing a complaint against Jeet. Shashwat shuts her down, ordering her to focus only on household responsibilities and blaming her past for everything. He sends Pihu away to study for her exams, adding that he will drop her at college the next day. Ishani says she will accompany them and attend college after finishing her chores.
Pihu once again asserts that Ishani will continue her studies no matter what. Shashwat warns that if Ishani goes ahead with this decision, their paths will separate. He bluntly tells her that there will be no relationship between them if she chooses education. Pihu, however, reassures Ishani, saying they will somehow arrange the fees.
The following day, Ishani fills out the admission form but worries about the fees. Pihu suggests selling the jewellery Ishani received during her marriage. Ishani explains that Raj Didi has kept most of her jewellery except for one piece. She asks Pihu to get ready. Pihu, meanwhile, excitedly talks about Anurag, calling him a brilliant professor and saying many girls take admission to the college because of him. Ishani is surprised by how much Pihu knows about Anurag. Pihu replies that he is very popular and admits that she likes him.
As Ishani leaves to prepare breakfast, she reflects sadly on the past, thinking that once she was the only one who loved Anurag, but now many girls admire him. She recalls how Anurag once claimed to love her and how she had trusted that promise.
