At the family function, a guest asks whether Anurag really tried to harass Ishani. She says she now understands why Raj Didi does not involve Ishani in the rituals. Another guest comments that professors cannot be trusted anymore. She questions how Shashwat could send Ishani to college in such a situation. On the other side, the police arrive at Anurag’s house. The police inspector says they received a complaint against Anurag, so they have come to take him to the police station. Anurag’s mother comes forward and defends her son. Anurag asks what the complaint is and who filed it. He refuses to go with the police without knowing the details. The police inspector reveals that a harassment complaint has been filed against him. Anurag’s mother insists that her son is not that kind of person. Anurag tells her not to worry and assures her that he will return soon. He then leaves with the police.
Back at the function, a guest remarks that girls are not safe in colleges either. Pihu urges Ishani to clear the misunderstanding. Raj Didi says this is not the right time to discuss such matters. The guests again question Ishani about what really happened. Ishani explains that the newspaper news was false. Shashwat asks everyone not to discuss the issue further. Pihu openly tells the guests that Ishani never filed any complaint against Anurag. She reveals that Shashwat himself gave a false complaint against Anurag to take revenge on him. Shashwat tells Pihu to stop talking, but Pihu replies that she did not start the discussion.
At the police station, Anurag says he was brought there without an arrest warrant and demands to know who filed the complaint. The police inspector says he is only doing his duty because a woman has filed a complaint against Anurag. Anurag asks whether that woman is Ishani. He adds that if it is Ishani, then the complaint must have been filed by her husband, Shashwat. The police inspector clarifies that Ishani did not file the complaint. He reveals that Nandini claimed Anurag harassed her on the road.
Anurag says he does not know any Nandini. The police inspector responds that this will be verified. Anurag asks the inspector to bring Nandini in front of him so she can prove the accusation. The inspector says Nandini has a photo with Anurag. Anurag is shocked and asks to see the photo.
At that moment, Rajdeep, a lawyer, arrives at the police station. Anurag greets him and praises him for never losing a case. Rajdeep thanks Anurag for helping him in his career and asks why Anurag is there. Anurag explains everything. Rajdeep says they can file a defamation case against the person who made the false allegation. The police inspector then shows Nandini’s photo to Anurag. Anurag is left completely shocked after seeing it.
